Superduper

Superduper Work hard, evolve freely, celebrate the imperfections. This opened us up to a new territory waiting to be re-discovered – the world of hats.

Founded in Florence in 2011, SUPERDUPER grew out of a period of creative experimentation and a strong desire to make. Within two years, the company was gaining industry recognition for our fresh take on an artisanal heritage. In 2013, the brand won the Who is on Next? Award in the Men’s category, with a special mention in the Women’s category. Today, SUPERDUPER has matured into a global brand that

can be found around the world. From our creative studio and workshop at Manifattura Tabacchi, we challenge the standard operating model of fashion e-commerce. Our signature method allows us to make all online purchases to order, reducing waste and excess inventory while maintaining the highest quality. Our internal production means we can make a hat in 72 hours, transforming the finest raw materials in the hands of our team of young artisans. At SUPERDUPER, we put care and attention at the heart of everything we do, so that our hats, and our business, are made to last. That’s why we stitch a stone onto every hat: to mark it as a unique, handmade piece, to connect us to the Earth and to remind us to give back to nature. And by training the next generation in age-old crafts, we commit to leaving behind tomorrow’s legacy today.

Some objects carry more than their shape
As children, we borrowed these things before we understood them, not to become someone else, but to imagine who we might one day be.

A hat left by the door. The scent of sun-warmed fabric. Creases formed slowly over time. Signs of a life already lived. Oversized silhouettes. Sleeves too long. Hats worn clumsily and proudly. Before style becomes personal, it begins with imitation. This story is about that moment.

This story is about Libero.

Golden hour has its own rhythm: quieter, slower, almost cinematic.

There’s a particular light that arrives without warning. Late afternoon, the sun low enough to turn everything gold — the water, the rocks, the air itself. Nobody plans to be there for it. You just are.
This is the season for that kind of afternoon. Straw that catches the light the way sand does. Colours that were never chosen, only found wheat, amber, the pale burn of a horizon you didn’t want to leave.

The short movie about Goin’ up the Country collection.

A celebration of freedom, nature, and the spirit of wandering. Inspired by the iconic rock band Canned Heat’s “Going Up the Country” the collection reimagines headwear for the modern nomad, blending organic textures, earthy tones, and breathable silhouettes designed for open roads and outdoor moments. A state of mind rooted in escape, simplicity, and movement.

Eight panels. Washed cotton. Already lived a life.
There’s an hour before sunrise when the harbour belongs to nobody, and everybody. Boats moving through dark water. Hands that know what to do. Salt in the air, the same gestures repeated for generations.
On every head, a cap.
The Simonon. Inspired by harbour uniforms, old fishermen silhouettes and workwear references collected from around the world.

Somewhere on the cost.

There’s a promenade somewhere in the South of France where people have been doing the same thing for a hundred years. They walk, or they sit. They watch the sea without needing to say anything about it. The light is hard at noon and soft by four, and by the time the evening comes in, nobody wants to be anywhere else. You don’t plan this kind of afternoon. You just end up there — hat on, nowhere to be, the whole summer spread out in front of you like the horizon.

Say Hi to the round crown.

No drama. No sharp edges. No complicated feelings.
Just the cleanest shape in the room — and it knows it.
Handwoven precious rafia, worn from day one.
The Shack and the Honey Pie. Two hats, same energy.
Always there. Never tries too hard.

Woven for Golden Hours, crafted for slow summer days.

The Mary Jane hat starts with buntal: fibre drawn from the stems of the Philippine palm, supple and light in a way that synthetic materials never quite manage. The weave is open, the brim wide. Inside, no leather band sits close to the head, the hat is just soft enough to forget it’s there.
