We are New Kid, designers and makers of footwear, accessories and clothing, based in Florence, Italy.

Each New Kid collection is designed in Italy by founder, Rachel Beagley, and made by a hand-picked network of skilled craftsmen from in and around Tuscany. Inspired by a love of popculture, exotic textiles and handcrafts, and the cliched reverence for an Italian sunset. New Kid aims to capture a bit of a naïve, yet wild sense of the world. New Kid's androgynous and fun footwear styles are brought to life in custom Italian leathers with a focus on leather treatments such as stamping, embroidery and laser cutting. With an emphasis on high quality and affordability New Kid is somewhat commercial yet completely independent.

Last chance to pick up a pair of max wonder pony. Unfortunately they take too long and to make well is frustrating as there are so many pieces in this upper and no way to draw on the stitching markings. We will make again in other leathers, but pony needs to be retired for this style. Find these last few pairs in store or online.
