We are New Kid, designers and makers of footwear, accessories and clothing, based in Florence, Italy.

Each New Kid collection is designed in Italy by founder, Rachel Beagley, and made by a hand-picked network of skilled craftsmen from in and around Tuscany. Inspired by a love of popculture, exotic textiles and handcrafts, and the cliched reverence for an Italian sunset. New Kid aims to capture a bit of a naïve, yet wild sense of the world. New Kid's androgynous and fun footwear styles are brought

to life in custom Italian leathers with a focus on leather treatments such as stamping, embroidery and laser cutting. With an emphasis on high quality and affordability New Kid is somewhat commercial yet completely independent.

NEW LAST ALERT! KATO is a small project we have made with a small family run Portuguese factory. Made with extra soft suede on a rubber sole that is stitched to the upper, these styles are extra comfy with slipper vibe. Classic styles that are very easy to wear, with a nice price. 👌 from 36 to 45, they fit a little small so size up.
