Growing Rice, Preserving Biodiversity 🌾
In Crova, among the rice paddies of Vercelli, carries on a tradition dating back to the 16th century, combining the cultivation of historic varieties with the preservation of the landscape.
Alice Cerutti tells the story: at age 27, she decided to change her life, leave Turin, and move with her family to the countryside.
This commitment has also taken shape in a natural oasis: 25 hectares once used for rice production have been returned to nature to welcome migratory birds and protect local wildlife.
A story of flavor and care for the land.
