I’ve finally finished sculpting the trulli pinnacles. In total, there will be eighty pieces..assuming they all make it safely through the entire production process.

The next step is the first of two firings, followed by glazing and then back into the kiln once again. They will all have a matte finish, and I’ve imagined a wave of color flowing through the whole collection, embracing every object with countless subtle variations. I’m feeling quite confident about the result.

I’m happy and satisfied with the work I’ve done so far. Finishing every single piece by hand, paying attention to every detail, has been a long but deeply enjoyable and expressive process. I’m going to enjoy every step of it until the very end.

I would love to host a presentation event at the showroom this summer. I’ll keep you updated as the journey continues!

Finalmente ho finito la parte di modellazione dei pennacchi dei trulli, nel totale saranno ottanta pezzi, sempre se tutti riusciranno ad arrivare alla fine del processo di produzione. La prossima tappa sarà la prima delle due cotture e poi colorazione e di nuovo nel forno. Saranno tutti opachi e ho immaginato un onda di colore che abbraccia tutti gli oggetti con tante variazioni di colori, ne sono abbastanza sicuro.

Sono contento e soddisfatto del lavoro fatto fin ora, rifinirli nei dettagli uno ad uno è stato lungo ma piacevole, espressivo. Mi godrò il processo fino alla fine!

Mi piacerebbe molto fare un evento di presentazione quest'estate in negozio, vi aggiornerò strada facendo!
