It is with profound sadness that La Perla mourns the passing of Alberto Masotti, son of our founder, Ada Masotti.
His loss is deeply felt by the House, whose history is inseparable from the Masotti family.
With entrepreneurial vision and a deep commitment to the family’s craft, he helped transform a Bologna Atelier into an internationally celebrated House. Alongside his wife Olga and later his daughter Anna, he shaped a defining chapter in La Perla’s history.
His dedication to preserving and sharing Italy’s creative heritage extended beyond La Perla, leaving a lasting contribution to fashion, culture and education.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to the Masotti family and to all those who had the privilege of knowing him.
