The name Paraboot, registered in 1927, is a combination of “Para” - an Amazonian port from which latex was exported - and “boot,” referring to the distinctive type of footwear that Rémy Richard discovered in the United States. Since then, Paraboot has become one of the last true emblems of “Made in France” craftsmanship, producing “stitched” shoes according to traditional shoemaking standards and using the finest materials sourced from the same tanneries for generations.

We created this limited-edition dirndl to celebrate our 130th anniversary. We collaborated with and finished the piece with a hand-printed silk apron - crafted by .wach.seidenhanddrucke using antique wooden blocks discovered in our archives.
