Saelf presentation - SOTTO LO STESSO CIELO
Tutto è racchiuso in una data e in un luogo: il 10 agosto, sulle sponde dell’Etna.
Il giorno brucia. Il caldo è torrido, la terra è polvere, i corpi salgono verso la montagna.
Poi arriva il buio, la notte di San Lorenzo, le stelle cadenti, il misticismo. Il confine tra ciò che è terreno e ciò che sembra eterno si assottiglia.
È in questo passaggio, tra la terra calda e il cielo notturno, che “Sotto Lo Stesso Cielo” trova la sua nostalgia che danza, ride, suda, prega.
Cosa rimane di un luogo attraversato da così tante persone, vite e corpi nel corso del tempo?
Il luogo cambia, le persone passano. La connessione rimane una, siamo tutti sotto lo stesso cielo.
Per due ore, Emanuele ha portato questo racconto attraverso il proprio corpo, spingendolo nella fatica, nel rito e nel delirio.
Prima della nascita. Poi la scoperta e la consapevolezza del corpo.
La vita.
Infine, il delirio.

Everything comes back to a specific time and place: August 10th, on the slopes of Mount Etna.
The day is scorching. The heat is relentless, the ground is dry and dusty, bodies make their way up the mountain.
Then night falls. San Lorenzo, shooting stars, a sense of mysticism. The boundary between the earthly and the eternal begins to fade.
It is somewhere between the heat of the earth and the night sky that “Sotto Lo Stesso Cielo” finds its nostalgia, one that dances, laughs, sweats and prays.
What does a place hold after so many people, lives and bodies have passed through it over time?
Places change. People come and go. But one thing connects us, we are all under the same sky.
For two hours, Emanuele told this story through his body, pushing it through exhaustion, ritual and, finally, delirium.
Before birth. Then, the discovery and awareness of the body.
Life.
And finally, delirium.
