I’ve been a little quiet here lately, busy helping the boys through a packed school schedule. But we’re back with autumn outfits, family moments and a few everyday stories from Milan 🍁.

Un po’ di svago mentale con i look d’autunno che più amo 🍂 mentre la città è in piena crisi da maranza e la settimana inizia con lo spray al peperoncino spruzzato in classe di mio figlio 🤯!! Menomale che sta bene ma il capitolo liceo lo immaginavo diverso 🙄😅.

A suede jacket is one of my autumn wardrobe staples 🫒🍂!! I love how khaki green works with chocolate brown, ecru and denim. Easy to wear, easy to style, season after season 🤎

🇫🇷 Altri luoghi da vedere, indirizzi da provare e qualche tip utile per il prossimo viaggio. E una bellissima conclusione estiva 🌊!!

The view alone is worth the climb… but we took an Uber 😅!! Notre-Dame-de-La-Garde is one of Marseille’s must-see landmarks, perched above the city with an incredible panoramic view of the Old Port and beyond 😍.

La vista vale assolutamente la visita… ma noi siamo arrivati in Uber 😅!! Notre-Dame-de-La-Garde è una tappa imperdibile per vedere Marsiglia dall’alto 😍.

For my boys, there was one extra attraction… the stadium ⚽️!! From Notre-Dame-de-La-Garde you get a fantastic view of Marseille, including the football stadium. We also went inside the basilica before heading back down by bus towards Mucem.

Per i ragazzi c’era ovviamente un’attrazione in più: lo stadio ⚽️!! Dalla basilica si gode una vista bellissima sulla città e sullo stadio. Al ritorno siamo scesi comodamente in bus verso il Mucem, lo consiglio sia per rapidità che per costo, si può pagare a bordo con carta di credito 😜.

A little stop for the manga lover in the family📚 !!Tsundoku is a wonderful Marseille bookshop packed with manga and collector’s items. Fabrizio found a Naruto book to take home… so yes, this stop was a success!!

Una tappa obbligata per il nostro amante dei manga 📚!! Da Tsundoku Fabrizio ha trovato anche un libro dedicato a Naruto 🍥. Missione compiuta!!

My favourite Marseille purchase 🌹💙!! This blue rose-print Ysé polo was love at first sight. I discovered the brand thanks to Daniela✨ , whose French style mixes Sézane, Rouje and Ysé so effortlessly. For Marseille I went a little maximalist: blue-and-white stripes, roses and leather sandals. Somehow it just worked 😎😜!!

Marseille’s oldest neighbourhood is basically an open-air gallery, with colourful murals, graffiti, tiny streets and surprises around every corner. This was definitely one of our favourite places to wander with the boys!!

Beyond the famous street art, I loved the little details: plants, balconies, colourful façades and quiet corners hiding between the busy streets. Marseille at its most authentic 🪴!!

Paninoteca lets you build a freshly filled focaccia that is seriously tasty and satisfying 🥪.
And then there’s Farfalou’s octopus sandwich, a Marseille street-food classic you really shouldn’t miss 🐙!!

We were supposed to spend the day in Normandy… then it started raining!! So we drove to Paris instead🗼🇫🇷.
A last minute family day trip from Caen, fuelled by our love for Paris, shopping, pastries and a very questionable amount of planning 😂 !!

Dovevamo restare in Normandia… poi ha iniziato a piovere!! E quindi? Parigi 🗼🇫🇷!!

The boys and Dad went to Pleincoeur by Maxime Frédéric for breakfast while I finally visited Le Grand Appartement Sézane nearby. Years of wanting to go there… and I wasn’t going to waste the opportunity!!

The Hôtel de Ville, the Abbaye aux Hommes and the beautifully maintained gardens… with a little reminder that the city is currently undergoing major works.
