But this time, let’s not focus on the ex*****on of the tuxedo itself. Let’s focus instead on the nonchalance with which Lapo wears it.
The first detail you may notice is that he doesn’t fasten the inner button of the jacket. This creates a subtle fold around the outer button, giving the jacket a more relaxed, less formal attitude.
And then there is the posture.
Anyone else would probably have posed in a way designed to make the outfit look as perfect as possible. Not him.
Hands crossed behind his back, almost saying: “I don’t care.”
And that, right there, is personality!
My dear friend has plenty of it.
At the same time, the bow tie, strictly hand-tied, tells you that he knows exactly what he is wearing. True elegance is also about understanding the rules well enough to bend them naturally.
Then there are the trousers: pleated, with a leg that is wide but not too wide, long but not too long. Just enough to create that impeccable 1960s silhouette.

And then there is a detail that very few will notice.

The bartack of the chest buttonhole, just 0.5 cm wide, is hand-stitched in the three colours of the Italian flag. Not only is it an extremely difficult detail to execute, but it is also a small gesture of belonging, a detail we dedicate exclusively to Lapo.
Many have asked us to reproduce it.
Our answer is always the same: we simply cannot.
You can take inspiration from a person, from their attitude, from the way they wear clothes. But copying their details would never be the same thing.
Because style is not about reproducing someone else’s signature.
