There are only a few rules worth remembering in summer, but they make all the difference.

For me, elegance in the warmer months is all about lightness. Even in the city, dressing well should feel effortless.

Start from the ground up: shoes should remain closed.

Sandals and open footwear belong by the sea. The same applies to bermuda shorts; they have their place, but that place is the beach, not the city streets.

The secret is to cover yourself with lightweight fabrics and comfortable cuts that move naturally with the body.

The goal is not only to feel fresh, but to give those around you a sense of ease and lightness.

When it comes to colours, I always favour lighter shades over darker ones. They reflect the season, the sunlight, and above all, they never convey a feeling of heaviness or heat.

A few simple rules, followed with consistency. Because true elegance has never been about excess.

Drishti and Vijay are two dear friends I have known for many years, people who see Italy as a truly unique place, where La Dolce Vita is not just an expression, but a way of life.

On their wedding day, they beautifully recreated that atmosphere which, for so many of us Italians, often feels so natural that we take it for granted. A celebration filled with elegance, warmth, joy, and the timeless charm that makes Italy so special.
