For Anamaria Chiorean, Creative Founder of the Romanian house ThoSay Fine Jewelry, jewellery is more than a symbol of beauty or status — it is an emotional anchor, a tool for self-connection.

Before entering the world of jewellery, Anamaria spent nearly fifteen years in media as a journalist and correspondent for international outlets including BBC and Radio France International. It was there that she discovered the power of stories and their ability to move people.

Today, that instinct, combined with her degree in Psychology, shapes the philosophy behind ThoSay. Each collection is conceived as a journey back to the self, translating emotions, thoughts and inner experiences into 14K gold and diamond pieces designed to create a deeply personal connection with the wearer.

What if a jewel could give a precious stone a new story?

For Francesca Yelas, the answer lies in transformation. Hand-carved from wax and crafted in sterling silver, the Laguna Ring, created in 2026, explores the sculptural and organic qualities of jewellery through forms that mimic the natural “pour” of molten metal.

At its heart lies a repurposed diamond — a stone that has already lived another life. For Francesca, when an original jewel loses its meaning, reimagining its stone can transform the emotional relationship between the jewel and its wearer, allowing a completely new narrative to emerge.

The ring takes its name from the laguna — the lagoon — a transitional space where land and sea meet and boundaries are constantly shifting.

In the Laguna Ring, fluid silver becomes a sculpted sandbar, while the diamond represents the liminal element of water held within it.

For Alessia Bertini, founder of the Italian jewellery brand Revita, jewellery is a symbol of transformation — a way to preserve a moment, a story and the journey that shapes who we become.

Inspired by Kintsugi, the ancient Japanese art of repairing broken ceramics with gold, Alessia embraces a philosophy in which imperfections are not erased, but revealed and celebrated. From this vision, Revita was born: jewellery conceived not simply as an accessory, but as a “time-stopper”, designed to accompany people through their personal transformations.

Each creation begins from within, from a feeling that asks to take form. Designed as a wearable work of art, every piece is handcrafted in Italy by artist-artisans using 925 silver from responsible supply chains and produced exclusively on demand.

What happens when the colors of the ocean are transformed into precious stones?

Created in 2025, The Coral by MILLEOTTO is an 18 kt rose gold ring where natural, unheated sapphires from Ceylon (Sri Lanka) become the protagonists of a composition built around color, light and movement.

Each sapphire is carefully selected for its purity, saturation and brilliance. Cut into oval, marquise and pear shapes, the gemstones seem to dance across the rose gold setting, while F–G color, VVS clarity diamonds frame them and amplify their luminosity.

Like fragments of coral emerging from the sea, different shapes and shades come together organically, creating a jewel that feels vibrant, precious and alive.

How does nature become jewellery?

For Swiss contemporary jewellery artist Capucine Maradan, every creation begins with an encounter with nature. Between sea and mountains, she finds inspiration in shells, minerals, leaves, textures and organic forms — not to reproduce them, but to reinterpret them through her own artistic language.

Through drawing, wax carving and traditional metalworking techniques, these impressions gradually evolve into one-of-a-kind jewels, entirely handcrafted in her Swiss atelier.

“Memory of Origins” brings together fragments shaped by time, where the mineral, vegetal, marine and celestial worlds converge. Silver and gold connect seashells, driftwood, seeds, gemstones and even meteorite, creating a dialogue between different expressions of nature. Each component is individually formed, textured, sawn, filed, openworked and soldered before being assembled by hand.

In “Into the Depths”, Capucine turns her attention to the ocean. A natural shell, sculpted by time and currents, is embraced by silver in a dialogue between mineral strength and organic delicacy. Rather than altering its identity, the metal seems to continue nature’s work, transforming the marine fragment into a wearable sculpture.

Why are people so incredibly happy when they’re holding a screaming fish? 🎣

For Russian designer Tamara Tuktamisheva, founder of TUK – TUK, this playful question became the starting point for the 2025 collection “A Good Catch!”

Inspired by the curious rituals surrounding fishing — the endless waiting, the excitement, the debates over the perfect bait and, finally, the triumphant moment of showing off the catch — Tamara transforms an ordinary, almost humorous experience into wearable art.

The “Screaming Fish” Ring and “Fish Tail” Ring, both crafted in steel, capture that unmistakable mix of irony, excitement and genuine human emotion.

What if a jewel revealed its meaning only when you experience it?

For Luba Sokolovsky, artist and writer based in Belgium, jewellery is where history, mythology, nature and personal experience meet. Her brand Libertas Spiritus — “Free Spirit” — is about freedom of spirit and dialogue between artwork and wearer.

This dialogue lives in Grounded, from her series _Mysteria Between the Lands_.

It began with stones found on the Mediterranean shore. Shaped by wind, water and time, they looked like fragile sandcastles — yet felt unexpectedly solid and strong.

In the studio, Luba let each stone guide the process. Copper and tin embrace them, lightweight aluminium gives invisible strength, natural openings become part of the design.

“The technique follows the stone, not the other way around.”

But the story was completed by those who wore them.

Despite their massive look, people described the same feeling: confidence, inner stability, freedom, support.

What appeared fragile revealed strength.
What appeared heavy revealed freedom.

Grounded

Mysteria Between the Lands_ refers to the ancient Greek Mysteria, where understanding came through direct experience, not explanation.

These jewels are not meant to be just observed. They have to be experienced.

Can jewellery transform the mystery of mortality into a symbol of beauty and ancestral power?

For Mexican brand CAVARNEJO, the Ritual Pot – Mictlantecutli is more than an ornament: it is a sculptural jewel connecting contemporary craftsmanship with the profound symbolism of ancient Mexico.

Part of the “México antes de México” collection, the piece is inspired by Mictlantecutli, the Mexica deity known as the lord of the underworld — the ruler of “the place without windows.”

Crafted in .925 silver, jade and garnet, the pendant combines silverwork with wax modelling, a signature technique of master jeweller Julio Caballero Cornejo, giving the piece the presence and structure of a miniature sculpture.

The mystical jade eyes contemplate the inevitable — time, death and what transcends the body — while flashes of garnet evoke sacrificial blood, intensifying the ritual character of the creation.

Can a jewel capture the invisible energy of the human body and transform it into color?

Handcrafted in 18 kt white gold, the Chakra Ring by Milanese jeweler Eros Comin translates the energy released from the hand into a composition of natural precious stones, with each gemstone representing the distinctive color of a chakra. ✨

Amethyst embodies violet, ruby red, champagne diamond orange, yellow diamond yellow, emerald green, while different shades of sapphire express indigo and blue.

Entirely handcrafted using the lost-wax technique, the ring features artistic workmanship across its whole surface, turning precious materials into a vibrant expression of energy, color and craftsmanship.

Coming from a family of jewelers, Eros learned the craft from his father before developing his artistic language through studies and collaborations with artists and sculptors.
