The Blue Blanket Denim Rodeo Shirt comes straight out of the 1950s: relaxed old-school fit, dry dark indigo denim with an irregular texture, proper pearl snaps, pointed Western pockets, and two bucking-horse cowboys embroidered across the chest.

WEEKEND, THE OLD WAY: FIRE ON. PHONE OFF.

The Peregrine Hudson Aran Jumper in Dark Navy brings proper heavyweight British wool, while the Blue Blanket P08 IT05 Waist Overall in Brown Herringbone takes care of the hard-wearing part: high rise, buckle back, copper rivets, Italian herringbone cotton, and enough old-school detail to make modern trousers look slightly underdressed.

Ideal mountain-lodge kit for doing absolutely nothing with great seriousness.

Add timber walls, chairs near the fireplace, possibly a drink, and no plans involving email.

SLP - Poncho Sierra Stripe In 50% Organic cotton and 50% Sheepwool

Its roots are in the old shepherds of the Mediterranean mountains, men who spent their lives outdoors and understood that good clothing didn’t need much explaining. It simply had to work.

Made in Portugal, in the mountains of Serra da Estrela, on looms more than 150 years old. Heavy brown with bold woven stripes, generous proportions and enough character to look better the less carefully you wear it.

50% cotton, 50% sheep wool and a very old way of doing things.

COLD AIR. GOOD WOOL: Peregrine – Wilkinson Cardigan in Navy
