Last week, Istituto Secoli had the pleasure of welcoming a delegation of lecturers from the Jiangxi Institute of Fashion Technology to its headquarters in Porta Venezia, Milan. The visit formed part of an intensive week of training and discussion within the educational programme "Fashion Reconfiguration / Local Roots, Global Languages: Teaching the Value of 'Made in Italy' Through Product, Design, Culture and Experience."
The programme was designed to offer an authentic and in-depth insight into the Italian fashion industry through direct dialogue with some of the sector's most influential professionals, executives, designers, and academics. It provided a unique opportunity to explore the value of Made in Italy not only as a symbol of manufacturing excellence but also as a heritage of culture, research, creativity, entrepreneurship, and innovation.
The programme was coordinated by Gian Mario Borney, Research Coordinator and lecturer at Istituto Secoli, as well as Strategist & Lecturer at Bocconi University, who accompanied the delegation through an intensive schedule of meetings with leading figures from the fashion and academic worlds:

The structured program of lectures, testimonials and discussions enabled participants to gain an in depth insight into the very heart of ‘Made in Italy’ value generating drivers and dynamics.
