The central theme of the 2026 edition, for students completing their three-year degree course, was ‘Mental Spaces’: a concept that invited them to create an outfit by journeying from concrete to abstract thought, before returning to reality transformed by the experience. A space that is not merely physical, but creative and inner, where past, present and future coexist and become an opportunity for expression, action and freedom.
Through divergent thinking and Design Thinking, the young designers constructed and deconstructed forms, codes and surfaces, breaking free from established patterns and making experimentation a mindset. Creation thus emerged not merely as a final object, but as a process, a gesture, an intention and a transformation.
