It is the result of Umberto Crespi’s experience in Irish Dancing as Chairman of Gens d’Ys Academy since 1993, in collaboration with designers and engineers from Politecnico di Milano and artisans specialized in high-tech resins. Crespi shoes are hand-made with high quality materials and leathers by Milan’s skillful craftsmen, well known all over the world, not only in the fashion business. They co

mbine the power of Irish sound with the unique Italian style, bringing a strong innovation in terms of design and comfort. Thanks to our intense researches, the new materials used for tips and heels will enhance each dancer’s rhythm. A real step forward in improving and optimizing the shoes that every Irish Dancer needs.

Times have been hard these past months with lockdowns for everyone, shortages of raw materials, closed workshops, and transport issues, but we are finally fully stocked again.
Because we believe in our products, and their quality, and most of all in the emotions you receive from dancing our beloved irish dances. This is why we are still here and haven't given up.

Farewell JOHN!
I am so sad that John McSweeney passed away this morning. Owner for over 70 years of The Talbot Dance Centre, John will be fondly remembered for the gentleman that he was to the many dancers who knew him worldwide.
I'm also very proud that he, with his son, gave me the opportunity to sell my shoes in their shop. He was a man with really open mind and curiosity about news.
Thinking of all his family and many friends at this very sad time. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.
