Ci sono persone che pensano che il mio lavoro sia disegnare abiti.

In realtà passo gran parte del tempo ad ascoltare.

Ascolto chi ho davanti.
Ascolto ciò che non viene detto.
Ascolto il tessuto, perché ogni materiale ha una voce diversa.

Solo dopo arriva il disegno.
Poi l’ago.
Poi il filo.

Ed è lì che, ancora oggi, succede qualcosa che non riesco a spiegare: un pezzo di stoffa diventa emozione.

Finché avrò la fortuna di sorprendermi davanti a questa trasformazione, saprò di aver scelto il mestiere giusto.

Ogni abito nasce dall’ascolto. Delle persone. Del tessuto. Del cuore.
