L’azienda Christia viene fondata a Bassano del Grappa nel 1968 da Manlio Sorio, che avviò un laboratorio artigianale di capi in pelle e montone. Allo stesso tempo l'azienda si rivolge ai mercati internazionali, cogliendone le tendenze, per portare il gusto e la qualità dei prodotti made in Italy nel mondo. La produzione artigianale è inoltre una peculiarità del marchio. Ogni singolo capo è, infatti, è costruito a mano da persone esperte: la selezione delle pelli, il taglio, il cucito, le finiture e il controllo finale sono fasi hand made indispensabili per creare un prodotto di qualità. Christia Company was founded in Bassano del Grappa in 1968 by Mr. Manlio Sorio, who started an artisanal workshop creating leather and shearling clothing. The small lab grew and became a national – and later international - leader company producing high quality coats. Today Christia is an ever adapting, always looking ahead company and it maintains a strong bond to the past and to the territory, thanks to the determined and conscious choice of designing the styles, creating the garments and handcraft producing in Veneto, in the leather and shearling district of Bassano, that was born in the Seventies thanks also to Christia. At the same time the company is focused on international markets and understands the fashion trends, bringing Italian style and quality all over the world. Every Christia garment stands out for its lightness, its softness and its elegance. The artisanal production is also a strong feature for the brand. Each garment is designed to be hand-constructed by skilled workers: the skins selection, the cutting, the sewing, the finishing and the final check need to be handmade to create a quality product.
