Real bosses don't wear platform shoes, so what do they actually wear?

Everyone's been talking about those platform shoes worn by the 'boss' in Love as a Camp lately! But let's be real, a true boss would never show up in those chunky platform shoes. So what do actual bosses wear? Italian handmade leather shoes, of course!

The Marche region in Italy, where Meraviglia comes from, is basically the birthplace of luxury shoes. It's known as the “Shoe Valley”. The craftsmanship there is seriously amazing, and so many top luxury brands like Chanel and Hugo Boss either have factories there or work with local makers. Plus, lots of famous brands got their start right there:
Tod's
Brand Overview: Tod's started back in 1970 in the village of Sant’Elia in the Marche region. It's one of those Italian luxury brands that's famous for high-quality handmade shoes. Their classic “Gommino” driving shoes are especially popular.
Celebrity Favorites: Audrey Hepburn and Kate Moss have both rocked Tod's shoes.

Santoni
Brand Overview: Santoni is all about those handmade high-end shoes. They started in 1975 and are based in Tolentino in the Marche region. Santoni shoes are known for their beautiful leather and classic designs, and they've got a great reputation worldwide.
Celebrity Favorites: Santoni is the go-to for big shots in politics and business. What do Putin, Sarkozy, Bush, and Berlusconi all have in common? They all rock a pair of Santoni leather shoes! Brand Overview: Meraviglia is a newer brand from Mogliano in the Marche region, known for their handmade custom riding boots and leather shoes. It was started by Roberto Balestra and Kristian Hertel, both from the Marche region. Kristian has over 20 years in the luxury industry, having worked as an executive at big fashion companies like Hugo Boss, Kering Group, and VF.

Celebrity Favorites: Well-known British equestrian and Olympic athlete Michael Whitaker, Argentine polo player Santi Ulla, and female race car driver Miranda Caragol all choose Meraviglia for their custom riding boots.

Arezzo, two days ago: we took the measurements for a new riding boot.

Then came the call from Emiliano Schiavone, in a panic: his competitor’s boot had broken, the zip had failed, and the only possible solution for the competition was starting to look like duct tape.

We did what we do best: we moved fast.

In just 24 hours, the boot went into production and was shipped from Marche to Milan, while Emiliano was traveling from Tuscany to Lombardy for his next competition at .

For us, this is not just a boot: it is a promise kept.
It means being there when it really matters.

Now we can’t wait to see Emiliano step into the arena wearing our boot. 🤩

Weekend in Tuscany 🍃🇮🇹
We went to visit our ambassador .schiavone , met great people, visited local factories, watched the competitions, and took measurements for new custom boots.
