Tutto inizia negli anni Settanta, in una piccola bottega sulla spiaggia di Positano un tempo adibita a ricovero invernale per le barche. È qui che una ragazza di vent’anni, affascinata dai colori e dalle forme che in quegli anni erano in continuo cambiamento, inizia a realizzare uno stile nuovo, diverso e inusuale per quell’epoca. Ampi volumi, nuove geometrie e colori maltinti, tutto accompagnato
da un sapiente utilizzo di pizzi e merletti che una volta insieme davano vita ad un’inedita armonia, eleganza e raffinatezza. Oggi il tempo ha dato ragione a questo stile e al nostro entusiasmo. Quella piccola bottega è ancora lì, in Via del Saracino 16, con lo stesso stile, la stessa passione e la stessa voglia di dare vita a cose meravigliose. Le uniche ad essere cambiate sono le ambizioni: più modelli, più tessuti e negozi e clienti da ogni parte del mondo. Sempre con lo stesso amore di quarant’anni fa!

It all started back in the Seventies, in a small shack on Positano beach once used a boat shed during the winter months. It was here that a twenty-year old girl, fascinated by the colours and shapes that were changing continually at that time, started to create a new style, one that was different and unusual for that period. Wide volumes, new geometries and unevenly dyed colours, all accompanied by careful use of lace and trimmings that, when combined, created an unusual harmony, elegance and style. Today time has shown that this style and our enthusiasm were well founded. The little shop is still there, in Via del Saracino 16, with the same style, the same passion and the same desire to create marvellous things. The only things that have changed are our ambitions: more models, more fabrics and shops and customers all over the world.
