•UN NOSTRO PENSIERO•
L’inquinamento causato dalla fast fashion è innegabile: tuttavia, negli ultimi anni diverse grandi catene di abbigliamento hanno cercato di ridurre il loro impatto ambientale, tra cui H&M. Tra i progetti sostenibili possiamo citare la linea “Conscious Exclusive”, che fa uso soltanto di materiali eco friendly come il cotone biologico, la lana riciclata e altri materiali derivanti da scarti e che riducono le emissioni di CO2. Inoltre, ogni anno i punti vendita organizzano la World Recycle Week in cui si possono portare indumenti usati (non solo firmati H&M) che verrano usati dall’azienda per creare nuovi prodotti riciclati. Solo nel 2019, sono stati raccolti 29.005 tonnellate di abiti. ♻️Un passo avanti per un mondo migliore.Ottimo lavoro!👏
Impariamo tutti da chi già lo sta facendo.

•OUR OPINION•
The pollution caused by fast fashion is undeniable: however, in these last years several big clothing chains have tried to reduce their environmental impact, including H&M. Among the sustainable initiatives of the company we can cite the “Conscious Exclusive” collection, which only uses eco friendly materials like the organic cotton, recycled wool and other materials derived from waste and which reduce CO2 emissions. Furthermore, every year H&M shops organise the World Recycle Week, where you can bring your old clothes (not only from H&M) that will be reused by the company to produce new recycled items. Only in 2019, 29,005 tons of clothes have been collected. ♻️A step forward for a better world. Well done! 👏

🍎🍏Scarti di mela si convertono in pelle: un caso interessante di economia circolare 100% Made In Italy🇮🇹
Ogni anno vengono buttati via 500.000 tonnellate di scarti di mela. Dal loro riciclo nasce la « Pellemela », una pelle versatile che può essere utilizzata per la realizzazione di calzature, abbigliamento, accessori e arredamento. Si tratta di un prodotto biodegradabile, vegano, sostenibile (permette di ridurre le emissioni causate dallo smaltimento dei rifiuti, riutilizzando a pieno gli scarti alimentari) e etico in quanto cruelty-free. ♻️

🍎🍏Apple waste turns into leather:a very interesting example of 100% Made in Italy circular economy🇮🇹. Every year, 500,000 tons of apple waste is thrown away. From its recycle we obtain “Pellemela”, a versatile leather that can be used for the creation of shoes, clothes, accessories and furnishings. It is a biodegradable product, vegan, eco friendly (it allows to reduce the emissions caused by waste disposal by reusing all food waste) and ethic because it is cruelty-free.♻️

À partir de leur recyclage on obtient « Pellemela », un cuir versatile qui peut être utilisé pour la création de chaussures, vêtements, accessoires et ameublement. C’est un produit biodégradable, végane, durable (il permet de réduire les émissions provoquées par l’élimination des déchets à travers la reutilisation de tous les déchets alimentaires) et éthique parce que c’est sans cruauté.

♻️Nella città di Prato si trova il più antico e grande impianto di riciclo di acque industriali di tutta Europa. 💦 Si tratta di un acquedotto di circa 75 km gestito dalla ngo GIDA, che fa risparmiare ogni anno circa 4,5 milioni di metri cubi di acqua. 💦Ad oggi, ci sono circa 300 imprese pratesi che hanno aderito al progetto di depurare l’acqua industriale per rimetterla nel processo produttivo evitando il consumo di acqua potabile. ♻️Questo esempio sostenibile di gestione delle risorse idriche è attivo dagli anni 90 al fine di evitare un eccessivo sfruttamento della falda idrica e il consequente abbassamento. Prato, siamo fieri di te!💚

♻️The city of Prato has the oldest and largest recycling plant of industrial waste of all Europe. 💦It is a 75-km aqueduct managed by GIDA ngo, which allows to save about 4,5 millions of cubic metres of water every year. 💦Currently, there are approximately 300 businesses in Prato who have joined this project of industrial water purification in order to reinsert it in the production process and therefore prevent drinking water consumption. ♻️This example of sustainable use of water resources has been existing since the ‘90s to prevent an excessive exploitation of the water table with its subsequent lowering. Prato, we are proud of you! 💚

♻️La ville de Prato a le plus ancien et le plus grand site de recyclage des eaux industrielles de l’Europe entière. 💦 Il s’agit d’un aqueduc de 75 km géré par la ngo GIDA, qui permet d’économiser chaque année 4,5 millions de mètres cubiques d’eau.💦 Actuellement,il y a environ 300 entreprises à Prato qui font partie de ce projet de purification des eaux pour les réinsérer dans la production et éviter un gaspillage d’eau potable.♻️ Cet exemple durable de gestion des ressources hydriques existes depuis les années 90 afin d’éviter une excessive exploitation des eaux souterraines et causer ainsi leur réduction.
