Elisabetta Pisu is a design curator with a training in Sociology and Cultural Management. She has specialised in contemporary design, with a special focus on the production process, social significance and the evolution of new expressive languages. Objects, environments and architectures are her main interests, as she investigates the changing role of design in contemporary society. In 2016 she fo

I am really pleased to announce that the Passione italiana: l'arte dell'espresso exhibition will be held in Shenzhen, UNESCO City of Design in southern China.

The exhibition will be held at the prestigious Sea World Culture and Arts Center (Nanshan, Shenzhen) this 5 December, during the Settimana della Cucina Italiana nel Mondo (SCIM, Week of Italian Cuisine in the World). The exhibition is organised by the Consulate General of Italy in Canton and will remain open until 4 January 2026. I am really looking forward to it!

Il gusto del design italiano exhibition at the Embassy of Italy in Washington.

I am pleased to announce the inauguration of the exhibition "Il Gusto del Design Italiano"(The Taste of Italian Design) that will be held this November 18 at the prestigious premises of the Italian Embassy in Washington for the Week of Italian Cuisine in the World. A journey between iconic objects and original creations that will highlight the elegance of Italian design associated with the table culture.
The exhibition is organised by the Italian Culture Institute of Washington in collaboration with IMF Foundation and will remain in the programme until 4 December 2025.

Memories - Bike to the Future
The bicycle as protagonist of the design of the future.

In 2016, “Bike to the Future” debuted at the Gent Design Museum in Belgium to then continue at the Cube Design Museum of Kerkrade (Holland) in 2017 and later at the Museum of Design Atlanta (USA) in 2019. The exhibition had an exclusive range of bicycles that embodied the best of contemporary design focusing on innovation, functionality and sustainability.
This exhibition explored the bicycle not only as a means of transportation, but also as an object of design that goes beyond its mere utility. Each stage highlighted how design can provide ever more sustainable solutions that are more intelligent and efficient for a future in which mobility is becoming more advanced and ecological.
