We are continuing to turn vintage textiles into new pieces designed by These beautiful crop tops are now available on her website!

Fabrics sourced by and then cut and sewn to utilize existing stitching and details. These are part of the Wear Your Values Collection- By removing any pieces of the fabric that are flawed and utilizing the parts that are in good condition, we able to extend the life of the pieces and save the entire thing as a whole from going to the landfill. Stretching our ability to save as much as we can from being thrown away, changing the fashion industry by using what already exists on this Earth and at the same time, reducing textile waste.

We are happy to be a featured in and to have been able to help contribute to the new website of B&W Black and White, an organization that is connecting and promoting the growing network of socially minded fashion initiatives in Italy founded by or working in collaboration with refugees and immigrants.

Through the study, affirmation and consolidation of the migrant style, B&W seeks to enhance the positive impact of the presence of immigrants, asylum seekers and refugees in Italy, and to undermine negative and racist stereotypes.

Additionally, they hope to promote not only ethical and sustainable fashion, but also research, innovation, and the social values that The Sewing Cooperative is founded on: workplace inclusion and the creation of space where everyone is valued for their skills and contributions.

Super excited to finally be able to share our collaboration with to produce these super versatile and comfortable dresses and crop tops! Made from Recycled and salvaged material sourced in Puglia, each dress is completely unique. We saved original finishings like hand stitched hems, embroidery, or original trim where we could and maximized each piece of fabric by using smaller pieces to make the crop tops.
