Un costume sardo è un documento.
Ogni ricamo, ogni colore, ogni punto racconta da quale paese vieni, a quale momento della vita appartieni, a quale comunità sei legato. È una lingua senza parole.

Ogni tessuto che entra in laboratorio viene selezionato personalmente, seguendo l'intero processo dalla scelta delle fibre alle tinture, fino ai motivi decorativi.
Sete, velluti, broccati, nastri — non prendiamo mai quello che troviamo. Lo cerchiamo, e spesso lo riproduciamo appositamente perché certi materiali non esistono più sul mercato.

Un costume sardo autentico inizia dalla materia, non dal taglio.
Dal filo alla storia.

Per noi il costume sardo non è mai stato un semplice insieme di tessuti, ricami e ornamenti.

È identità.

Il tempo, non è un ostacolo. È parte del lavoro.

Ogni creazione prende forma seguendo un ritmo preciso, che non può essere forzato senza perdere verità. Il taglio, la cucitura, la scelta dei materiali: ogni passaggio richiede attenzione piena, e l’attenzione non si accelera.

Capita spesso che venga chiesto di fare prima, di consegnare subito. È comprensibile. Ma ciò che nasce in fretta raramente dura nel tempo. La durata è tutto.

Un abito tradizionale sardo non è un capo come gli altri. È memoria, identità, gesto tramandato. E come ogni cosa preziosa, ha bisogno del suo spazio per diventare ciò che deve essere.

Il broccato di seta non ha bisogno di presentazioni. Si riconosce da come prende la luce e la trattiene, come se ogni filo sapesse esattamente dove stare.
