Flowers make you pause no matter how busy or distracted you are! They speak a universal language, that of pure beauty. Their colours, forms, textures and quiet presence often stay with me long after I’ve seen them, always finding their way into my thoughts and my designs.

I’am sharing a few that have stayed with me over the years, gathered during my travels. I don’t remember their names, but I remember how they made me feel.

Postcards from Italy - Venice

Venice has a way of slowing you down - the gentle rhythm of the canals, the light dancing across the water, and the feeling of getting wonderfully lost among its winding streets and hidden corners.

These photographs arrived from a client and a dear friend, traveling through the city, capturing moments between canal crossings, quiet piazzas, and lingering afternoons by the water. Her Agaati hand block printed skirt moved with her from exploring Venice’s charming alleyways to relaxed evening dinners, offering comfort, and effortless style throughout the journey.

And somehow, being in that rhythm feels like a quiet kind of healing.

At Vizcaya in Miami, I felt that deeply - where history, nature, and design come together so effortlessly.
