From a single slab of marble, different figures emerge, sharing the same origin. They are not added to the material: they are already there, contained within its potential, and revealed by the gesture of the cut. Subtraction thus becomes an act of creation: removing in order to reveal, passing through the solid to give form to a new possibility.
Marble becomes a metaphor for existence: a common matter, shaped by time, from which unexpected forms can emerge. Each figure is different, fragile and autonomous, yet each preserves within the material the trace of where it comes from.
