I am forever a student of life!

While making my first crochet male shirt, I learnt that the buttons should be on the right side.

History has it that most males used their right hands during the times of wars with swords. It was easier for them to pull a button jacket with the left side overlapping the right and easier to glide the swords from the left side of jackets with their right hands.

This convention translated into modern clothing standard as we now have today!
