Bright Minds Nursery Pre & Kindergarten School came about as a result of a genuine concern Ms. Lawrence has for children in the surrounding communities. There was a lacking for a child friendly environment that cared for the holistic de
velopment of young children. So with the training received and the advise of many parents, family members and well wishers, Ms. Lawrence decided to start her dream plan with the assistance of Mr. The School started out with ten boys and nine girls, two teachers, one caregiver and a cook/Janitor. Bright Minds caters for children two months to six years old. Today with much pride I can say the numbers have increased more than one would expect and is classified as the fastest growing institution in Hanover since its inception. At Bright Minds students are well rounded and do perform way above the required or expected level. Bright Minds Nursery Pre & Kindergarten School is registered by the Ministry of Education. The Early Childhood Curriculum is adhered to but is not followed slavishly when it comes to teaching. All the teachers that are employed at this institution are certified in Early Childhood and the Principal holding a Diploma in Early Childhood. The P.T.A Body is a very vibrant one and works closely with the Management and staff of the institution. Some of the events that are participated in are: Field Trips, Sports Day, Jamaica Day, Jeans, Cap, Slippers, Ice-Cream, Popcorn Day and any other that is suggested by parents or planning committee. Both Parents, Teachers and Students do gain valuable experiences from time to time. It is the dream of the Bright Minds Family to work hard as a team to elevate and promote the institution in a positive way to ensure it remains the number one School in Hanover. Choosing Bright Minds for your child's early learning is the best thing you would have done, as our motto says "Give your child a good start and he or she will grow smart". A triangle has three points, at Bright Minds we place our parents at one point, Teachers at one point ans the Students at the other point. We believe in our parents being a positive role model to their children so with much team effort we will have a complete man who will help to impact not only our school, community, parish but our country and the world at large.
