Today was a special day. 🎀

One of my students made her very first bow, and the smile on her face said it all. She was so excited, and moments like these remind me why I love teaching.

Tomorrow marks the end of her two-week class with us, and watching each of my students grow in confidence, creativity, and skill has been one of the greatest rewards. They didn’t just learn how to sew they learned that they are capable of creating something with their own hands.

My goal has always been bigger than teaching sewing. I want to pass down a skill that can be carried from generation to generation. I encourage every student to keep creating after class whether it’s making gifts for friends, earning extra income, or even building their own business.

Today, this young lady shared that she wants to start her own business using one of the products she learned to make here. Hearing that filled my heart with joy, and I’m committed to helping her every step of the way.

Please be on the lookout for this young entrepreneur. I can’t wait to watch her dreams become reality. One stitch, one project, and one future business owner at a time.

Today was such a great day! I had an amazing time with my summer camp students, and after class I got to work on this custom bandana tote bag for one of my customers.

I spent some time figuring out how I wanted to coordinate these colors, and this is the combination I came up with. What do you think? 💛🩶

I have one more custom bag to make, and I’m so excited to finish it! I truly love creating handmade bags and bringing my customers’ ideas to life. Every custom order is special, and I’m grateful I get to do what I love every day.
