Rashikabor

Rasha Mubideen was born in Amman in 1987. She began sewing at an early age inspired by her mother, who used to always say that she will become an artist one day. Rasha found her passion in fashion design when one day she was bought a sewing machine toy. She began to create beautiful gowns for her sister’s Barbie dolls and by the age of 15 she began to sew for herself and her little sister. Rasha later trained in fashion design at Princess Alia College and received her diploma degree in 2007. She then spent a year working as a co-owner of "BellaModa" Pattern Making for manufacturers. Upon graduating Rasha, like many other Jordanian fashion students, was faced with the culture not keen on her pursuit of a career in fashion design. That has lead her to change her bachelor degree to Home Economy. She was, at the time, studying and working part time and this has polished her personality to become more independent. After graduating from university in 2011 she worked with several big companies in Jordan and has reached good positions. Her strong personality put her in different situations, which only made her more determined and sure that she wants to follow her real passion and establish her own design studio. Her designs began to attract attention and then she decided to use "RashiKabor" as her brand name. This name comes from a nickname she was called as a child. Her vision is to become part of modern fashion design in the Middle East. She is now working on developing her brand to became a reality for sophisticated, unique and modern designs.
