自ら書く物語をコレクションテーマにして展開する。
物語自体が持つ詩的でアンニュイな雰囲気の中から切り取られた様々な情景が、物語の主人公「彼」からみた「彼女」の服という目線で、イノセントなカラーとフェミニンなディテールを施したレディースラインとメンズラインに表現される。

岡本順(Jun Okamoto)
1975年生まれ。
1997年文化服装学院を卒業後、パリのStudio Bercotに入学。
アレキサンドルマチュー(Arexandre Matthieu)のアシスタントを経て、
自身のブランドを2002年より、パリを拠点にスタートさせる。
2008A/Wより障害を持った方たちの織る『さをり織り』や、
障害を持った方たちの描く絵とのコラボレーションラインを始め、
2010S/SよりJUN OKAMOTO BLUEとして立ち上げる。
2009

-10AWよりメンズラインをスタート、
2010年より拠点を東京に移す。
2011年6月、JUN OKAMOTOのパターンを使った
セミオーダーラインをwallflower by jun okamotoとし、
初のオンリーショップを自身の故郷でもある熊本にオープンさせる。
2013年11月、東京、代官山に路面店をオープン。

頭の形に馴染んだ麦わら帽子に白い開襟シャツを着た彼は、太陽から顔を背けるように、マルシェの入り口の石像の縁にちょこんと座っていた。
遅れてきたことを詫び、私たちはヴァカンスで賑わうマルシェの中を歩き始めた。
彼はマダムから渡されていたメモ用紙を確認しながら、サーモンを二キロとオンディーブを一キロ、それから色々な野菜や鶏肉を買っていった。
私はひまわりとロゼワインを買った。
一通り買い物が終わると、彼は荷物を私に預け、再びマルシェの中へ消えていった。

買い物したものをマダムに渡し、私たちは先ほど買ったロゼワインを開けた。
私は日よけの中に入り、麦わら帽子をデッキチェアの横に置いた。

Wearing a white camp-collar shirt and a straw hat that had long since taken the shape of his head,
he sat quietly on the edge of the stone statue at the entrance to the market,
keeping his face turned away from the sun.
I apologized for being late,and we began walking through the market,alive with people enjoying their summer holidays.
He checked the note Madame had given him.
Two kilos of salmon.One kilo of endives.
Then vegetables, chicken,and a few other things along the way.
I bought sunflowers and a bottle of rosé.
When we had finished shopping,he handed me the bags and disappeared into the market once again.

We gave everything to Madame,
then opened the bottle of rosé we had just bought.
I settled into the shade and placed the straw hat beside my deck chair.

小さな泡はグラスの底からリズミカルに立ち昇っていた。
小さな泡は琥珀色の液体を、上品なスカーフのように煌めかせた。
小さな泡はタンバリン奏者のように軽やかな音を鳴らして弾けた。
小さな泡は聞き取れないほど小さな声で私に話しかけた。

私はそれを眺め、耳を澄ませ、グラスを一気に飲み干し、ウエイターを呼んだ。

Tiny bubbles rose rhythmically from the bottom of the glass.
Tiny bubbles made the amber liquid shimmer like an elegant scarf.
Tiny bubbles burst with cheerful little sounds,
like a tambourine player.
Tiny bubbles whispered to me,too softly to be understood.

I watched them,listened carefully,emptied the glass in one long sip,
and called for the waiter.

後ろ姿を眺めているのが好きだった。

彼の動きに合わせてキャンバスには色とりどりの花が咲き始めた。
私はその姿と、私の好きなピカソの映像を重ねていた。
それを彼に伝えたいと思うけど、どう言葉にすればいいかわからず、今日もただ、後から眺めているだけだった。

I liked watching him from behind.
With every movement he made,flowers of every color began to bloom across the canvas.

As I watched,
I couldn't help but think of my favorite film of Picasso.

I wanted to tell him.
But I couldn't find the right words.

So today, once again,I simply watched him from behind.

さっきまで何も着ていなかった彼女は、気が付くと全身を真っ白なクリームに覆われていた。
僕は彼女の機嫌を損ねないように、薄いクリームを幾重にも重ねていった。
その上に、同じクリームで小さな白い花をいくつも飾り、
最後に頭から順番にイチゴを乗せた。

彼女の好きなものばかりを集めたようなショートケーキが出来上がった。

僕はそれを冷蔵庫にしまい、足元で丸くなっていた犬に、
「彼女を起こしてきて」
と頼んだ。

A moment ago, she had been wearing nothing.
Before she knew it,her entire body was covered in pure white cream.
Careful not to upset her,I spread thin layers of cream over her,one after another.

Then I decorated her with countless little white flowers,
made from the same cream,and placed strawberries on her,one by one,starting from her head.

It looked like a shortcake made entirely from all the things she loved.

I hid it in the refrigerator,
then turned to the dog curled up at my feet.

"Go wake her up," I said.

僕はコーヒーを温め直し、お土産でもらったマグカップに注ぎ、一つを彼女のサイドテーブルに置いた。
置き際に彼女のワンピースを褒めようかと思ったが、結局「おはよう」とだけ言い、自分のキャンバスの前に座った。

窓際のエバーフレッシュは素早く朝日に気が付き、小さな葉をめいいっぱい広げていた。

また暑い夏が始まろうとしていた。

I reheated the coffee,
poured it into the mug we had been given as a souvenir,
and placed one on the table beside her.

For a moment, I thought about telling her how beautiful her dress was.
Instead, I simply said,
"Good morning,"
and took my place in front of my own canvas.

By the window,
the everfresh was the first to notice the morning sun,
spreading its delicate leaves as wide as they could.

Another hot summer was about to begin.

遠くで鳥の鳴く声が聞こえた。
それは今まで聞いたことのない鳴き声だった。
鳴き声のする方に目をやったが、もうすでに鳥の姿はなかった。

かわりに、見た事のない鮮やかな色の花が咲いていた。

A bird called somewhere in the distance.

It sang in a voice he had never heard before.

He turned toward the sound,
but the bird had already vanished.

In its place,
a flower bloomed in a color he had never seen before.

ポケットの中には色々な国の硬貨が入っていた。
彼女は落ち着かなくなると、目を瞑って指の腹で硬貨をなぞり、その国へと思いを巡らせた。

Her pockets held coins from different countries.

Whenever she grew restless,
she closed her eyes and traced their surfaces with her fingertips,
letting her thoughts wander to those distant places.
