"SANGOU" is a brand that conveys Japanese traditional technology and culture, based on the concept of "Kimonos for Wearing Rough" developed by designer Kikuta Sango.Japanese traditional crafts and technologies are currently on a steady decline, but first of all, most of us Japanese are probably not even aware of their "goodness".From our concern that "we can make a good p
roduct but does it match the needs of time?" first, as an entrance to kimono / waso (traditional wear), we are creating products with the theme "Kimonos for Wearing Rough". Thus, by transmitting the "real things", we would like to contribute to the revival of traditional crafts and technology and the development of Japanese culture.
今こそ「粋」にラフに着れる着物
「SANGOU」とは、デザイナー菊田参号が展開する「ラフに着れる着物」をコンセプトに、日本の伝統技術や、文化を発信しているブランド。現在、衰退の一途を辿ってしまっている日本の伝統工芸や技術だが、まず、日本人である私たちもその「良さ」すら知らない人が大半ではないだろうか。「良いものは作れるが、時代と合っていないのでは」と考え、まずは、着物・和装への入り口として「ラフに着れる着物」というテーマで、モノづくりにあたっている。まず、知ってもらって、使ってもらって、そこから「本当に良いもの」を理解してもらう。そうやって「本物」を発信していくことで、伝統工芸や技術の再興、日本文化の発展に貢献したいと考えている。

“SANGOU" est une marque qui transmet l'héritage de la culture et des techniques traditionnelles japonaises, sur le concept du "Kimono for wearing rough" développé par le designer Sango Kikuta. L'artisanat traditionnel japonais est sur un lent déclin, mais même les japonais ne sont pas conscients de leur excellence. En partant du principe que "nous pouvons faire un bon produit, mais est-il dans l'air du temps ?" concernant le kimono / waso (vêtements traditionnels), nous créons des produits sur le thème du "Kimonos for wearing rough". Tout d'abord, nous souhaitons vous les faire connaître et porter afin que vous puissiez juger ce que nous considérons être un "vrai bon produit". Ainsi, en transmettant ce goût pour les choses authentiques, nous souhaitons contribuer au renouveau de la l'artisanat et des techniques japonaises, et développer ainsi la culture nippone.
可輕便穿著的和服
「SANGOU」是由設計師菊田參號所推出的服飾品牌，主打「可輕便穿著的和服」，用以推廣日本的傳統技術與文化。現今的日本傳統工藝與技術正漸趨式微，這些東西的美好，或許就連大多數的日本人也都是一知半解。其箇中原因在於，「這些技術雖能帶來好東西，但不符時代潮流」，因此SANGOU主打「可輕便穿著的和服」，以日式和服帶領大眾入門了解日本製造業的淵源與精神。SANGOU希望大眾能先對品牌有所認識，接著進而使用，再從中領略「真正的好東西」。同時也期許品牌能藉著推廣「在地產物」，幫助振興日本的傳統工藝和技術，並對日本文化的發展有所貢獻。
