Functional beauty, even for formal shoes.

These bespoke shoes are made with “Puma H”, a water-resistant box calf leather from the French tannery Du Puy.

This pair was specially ordered for the Japanese rainy season, “Tsuyu”, when rain and humidity are part of everyday life.

I wanted to keep the beautiful shine and elegant texture of the leather, while creating shoes that can be enjoyed even on rainy days.

The rubber sole adds practicality and comfort for the rainy season.

Traditional beauty and modern functionality come together in this formal shoe, made for the unique climate of Japan.

Many layers of leather parts and perforations make nice shadows and give strong three-dimensional look.

Norwegian welt construction with wide welt edge and solid build gives a rugged and reliable impression.

Unpigmented calf leather has natural transparency. By wearing, oil moves inside leather and fibers become tight, so color gets deeper and natural patina and shine will come out.

Over time, the shoe changes and becomes your own pair.

Camel brown with a beautiful pull-up vibe, and they’re only gonna look better the more they’re worn.

Full brogue details, classic medallion toe, chunky storm welt, and a tough half-rubber sole with amazing grip.

パラブーツのヒール修理。

パラブーツの接着剥がれは、時々持ち込まれる修理です。

剥がれ落ちたヒールが手元に残っていたら、再接着で対応可能です。

しかし、今回お持ち込み頂いた靴は、ヒールはどこかへ行ってしまったととの事。

その場合は、ヒールを作り直せばいいのです。オリジナル素材は手に入らないので、代替え品で雰囲気を崩さない物を使って対応しています。
