Tsuruya kimono shop is a family owned kimono shop in a small town called Fuchinobe. For your convenience, we can help you in English.

It was originally opened in Machida in the late 1800s. It moved to Fuchinobe in 1963. We specialize in traditional Kimono, Yukata, accessories for Kimono and Japanese souvenirs. We are found outside of the north exit of JR Fuchinobe station, about an hour train ride from Shinjyuku Tokyo or 30 minutes from Yokohama Kanagawa. We are looking forward to seeing you in our shop.

Today I participated
in the final presentation of international students at J. F. Oberlin University!
We have been cooperating with the "Japanese Culture" class for more than 20 years now.
This time again, as befitting a class that has studied Kabuki,
I was surprised and impressed from start to finish by the wonderful presentation incorporating Kabuki gestures.
