Denim Tears Tokyo Pop-Up Exclusive Tee

Yo check this out — Japan Edition 🇯🇵

When Tremaine Emory’s Denim Tears sets up a global activation, it’s always MORE than just a retail drop—it's a cultural exchange. To mark the first ever Denim Tears Tokyo pop up the brand took over a large space inside the iconic Shibuya Parco mall.

Visitors were treated to a wide selection of OG commemorative DT apparel that stateside stockists ran out of years ago. The selection was CRAZY!

Jon chose one item. The limited edition Tokyo graphic tee was created to celebrate their first Tokyo pop up which made this tee A MUST COP.

Massive shout out to Reo (), the brand director for Denim Tears Japan and the entire crew for the world-class hospitality as well as their incredible energy.

An absolute masterclass in global community building. Nothing but respect for how the Denim Tears Tokyo team moved. Tremaine should be proud!

xVessel Tiramisu Paisley Navy

Yo check this out — Japan Edition 🇯🇵

Jon copped these at Always Out Of Stock while visiting Japan and has been rocking them on the daily. Special shout out to for taking the time to discuss his brand and help Jon cop a few very dope pieces.

Founded by Vanness Wu, xVessel completely flipped the script on traditional vulcanized footwear by introducing a heavily deconstructed, avant-garde aesthetic to the sneaker world. The "Tiramisu" moniker comes directly from the signature layered, stacked midsole structure that mimics the iconic dessert. These pairs are notoriously difficult to source and constantly sold out worldwide, but Jon managed to track down the very last pair in his size during a run through Japan with King Masa and the crew.

The design language on this silhouette is incredibly complex. It features a rich navy paisley canvas upper with raw, heavily frayed edges running across the entire exterior. The vulcanized sole is a layered masterpiece, utilizing asymmetric neutral-toned sidewalls and a double-stacked heel that intentionally displaces the rubber brand label off-center. It's finished with an integrated exterior size-tag graphic on the midfoot as well as a double toe cap and the brand's signature handwritten script running across the toe reading "piece by piece."

An absolute masterclass in over-engineered footwear. Jon found the last pair on the shelf in Tokyo….literally.

Anyone can make a movie on their phone. But that doesn’t mean it’s classic.

Aidan Marshall breaks down why true timelessness is harder to find than ever. Because resources are so accessible now, the percentage of things built with actual purpose is shrinking.

The barrier to entry is gone—which means the market is flooded with fast fashion and temporary trends.

When ex*****on becomes effortless, intention becomes your only leverage. The work that stands out is the work that took time, research, and real energy to build.

During one of our visits with Stu he pulled out a pair of Nike Air Epic prototypes from 1978–79.

Very few people get to see a tooling era product from inside the Nike Exeter R&D facility. The Exeter facility was the East Coast engineering outpost for Nike WAY WAY back when Stu and his team were busy taking all of the Oregon originated Nike concepts and bringing them to life.

The Air Epic was the first Nike shoe to feature 3M reflective material for night visibility. The Air Epic was JUST an idea. Stu and the Exeter NH crew built the tooling to bring the idea into real life.

Nike's Exeter lab produced only 250 pairs of this first AIR cushioned shoe. The Air Epic was ONLY made available at six stores in Hawaii for the Honolulu Marathon.

All 250 pairs sold out in less than 24 hours at an unprecedented $50 a pair. $50 was expensive back in the day. REAL EXPENSIVE.

The Air Epics sold out with no Internet hype. There was NO INTERNET back then. Only ground breaking technology and an unmet need in the market.

The NIKE AIR program was just getting started and Stu and his team were making things happen in a facility that wasn’t in Oregon, but in New Hampshire. Read that last sentence again.

Don Toliver x BAPE Road Sta — A Beautiful Pair in the Neighborhood 👟

The Road Sta is BAPE’s take on the retro running silhouette—featuring a visible air bubble in the heel, clean lines, and the iconic shooting star logo on the sidewall. Don Toliver got his hands on it for his first-ever sneaker collaboration, and he didn't hold back.

It features a glossy pink patent leather upper with royal purple hitting the star logo, laces, and heel tab. The custom “DON” embroidery on the heel integrates the standard BAPE star directly into his name, all sitting on top of a tonal pink midsole. Pulling its color palette directly from his Love Sick era, this isn’t just a collab—it’s an extension of his creative world.

Dropped November 30, 2024, exclusively at BAPE stores and online. Toliver even showed up in person at the SoHo store in New York on drop day to celebrate. As a member of the Cactus Jack family, he came into this with connections—but the shoe absolutely stands on its own. Houston energy. Tokyo DNA. A beautiful pair.

🚨 Bonus Info for the Locals: Catch that same energy live tonight—Don Toliver is shutting down Boston with a live show. Don't miss it.

Supreme x Public Enemy Skateboard Deck — 2006

An absolute grail from Supreme’s Fall/Winter 2006 collection.

This deck features Public Enemy’s iconic crosshair logo—the b-boy silhouette inside a scope, designed to symbolize how citizens in the US are under constant national surveillance.

The full capsule also included a nylon pullover jacket, a full-zip hoodie, two tees, and a beanie, all emblazoned with the powerful phrase: "The Government's Responsible." As for the skate decks? This was an incredibly limited release, with only 100 sets ever produced.

Chuck D personally approved every detail of the collaboration, even insisting on keeping retail prices accessible so kids didn't have to blow all their sneaker money just to own a piece.

The graphics pay homage to PE's seminal 1988 album, It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back. The political message was just as sharp in 2006 as it was in '88, and Supreme knew exactly what they were tapping into.

Jon has been holding onto this exact piece since drop day. The connection runs deep, too—he actually lived across the hall from Chuck D in the East Village back in the early '90s.

Japan has TON of BAPE stores. With so many stores to visit and so many exclusive items to chose from our team thought he would bring back a suitcase of BAPE.

He flew back to Boston with ONLY ITEMS.

Pick Up #1: Baby Milo Tokyo Exclusive Tee — Part of BAPE's Tokyo Exclusive Collection that was only available at a few select BAPE stores in Tokyo. The kind of piece you can only grab if you're actually in the city. Did we say TOKYO ONLY enough?

Pick Up #2 : A Bathing Ape Souvenir Tee — Japan-exclusive. Baby Milo meets classic Japanese motifs — helmets, maneki-neko, traditional imagery — paying homage to Japonism. That frog in the corner is old school artwork.

Can't find either of these stateside. That's the point.

Aidan Marshall raised $30,000 and produced the 14League basketball tournament in Boston. He dreamt it. He was focused. He was determined. He was only 17 years old.

Six LONG months of work. City permits. Logistics. Prize money. Every piece had to be pulled together by a kid who had no real blueprint for how to do it. There were moments it looked like it wasn't going to happen, but it did. BIG TIME.

And to this very day with all of his incredible accomplishments the 14League tourney is still the thing he's most proud of. Not because of the money or the scale — because he was that young and it was that hard and he got to stand there at the final game and watch it all come together.

That's the foundation Aidan Marshall is built on. Brick by Brick. Laser focused. He puts his heart and soul o every single project.

Chrome Hearts Star Ring
Chrome Hearts Classic Oval Ring

👇Yo Check This Out - Japan 🇯🇵

Two rare Chrome Hearts rings found in one day!

Chrome Hearts has had a presence in Tokyo since 1999 — and the secondary market there hits different.

There is NOTHING that will prepare you for the variety and prices offered up for Chrome Hearts jewelry in Tokyo.

Jon hit up Casanova Vintage 3 and Rinkan Shibuya and looked through more than 500 pieces of sterling silver Chrome Hearts between the two stores.

First Pick Up: Chrome Hearts Star Ring — Sterling silver. Heavy. Every Chrome Hearts piece is hand-crafted in their Los Angeles factory and stamped .925 sterling. Jon copped this one at Casanova Vintage 3.

Second Pick Up: Chrome Hearts Classic Oval Ring — This design has remained consistent for decades — crosses, bold engravings, heavy silver — built for collectors who love classic Chrome Hearts. Jon copped it at Rinkan Shibuya.

Getting these two Chrome Hearts rings all in one afternoon was a HUGE WIN!

Many thanks to .jp, the GM at Casanova Vintage 3 and world renowned private shopper .ishizuka for their help in acquiring these 2 AMAZING PIECES.
