Meet one of the OG Nike technologists that made it possible to manufacture sneakers at the WORLDWIDE scale Nike now achieves with ease.

For more than three decades, Stu Forstrom worked behind the scenes during one of the most transformative periods in Nike's history. From Air manufacturing and Tensile Air, later known as Zoom Air, to process engineering, factory innovation and global manufacturing.

Stu’s work helped turn ambitious ideas into repeatable production.

His name wasn't printed on the shoes he worked on, but he was there for SO MANY earthquaking Nike sneakers we still daydream about.

Like so many engineers inside Nike, their success was measured by the product leaving the factory, not by public recognition.

Yet the systems Stu helped develop as well as the manufacturing equipment he designed and ALL OF THE PATENTS he earned became part of the foundation behind some of Nike's most COVETED sneakers.

In Episode 3, we explore those Beaverton years. The rapid growth. The engineering challenges. How Stu transitioned into a leadership role and what it was like to help build one of the world's most innovative manufacturing organizations from the inside.

In December 2025, Tyler The Creator announced that Season 4 would be the final full clothing collection for his brand GOLF le FLEUR*.

In his announcement he described the label as “a language I wanted to create, but now it’s time to slow down on communicating.”

Although fragrances, accessories and select collaborations will continue, Tyler confirmed there will be NO MORE seasonal apparel collections.

This amazing GOLF le FLEUR Oriental Toggle Jacket puts an EXCLAMATION POINT on Tyler’s clothing design journey. It’s just THAT GOOD.

Tyler first introduced the GOLF le FLEUR* name through his Converse collaboration in 2017 before expanding it into a luxury label in 2019. Over the next several years, he developed a distinct design language built around vibrant colors, tailored silhouettes, premium materials and thoughtful detailing.

Tyler credits Virgil Abloh for helping shape the blueprint for producing clothing at scale and also Louise Trotter for giving him an early opportunity through Lacoste.

The Oriental Toggle Jacket captures Virgil’s philosophy.

The oversized toggle closures, sculpted hood, refined materials, attention to every single detail and then of course adding the Darryl dog label reflects Tyler’s design aesthetic. Simple yet complex.

It took six months to track this one down.

Porter Yoshida Fork 2Way Tote Bag — Kyoto

The story starts with Kichizo Yoshida, who was born in 1906 and began apprenticing as a bag maker at just 12 years old. In 1935, he founded Yoshida & Co. in Tokyo with a simple philosophy:

“One stitch, all soul.”

That phrase still represents the company’s belief that every stitch should reflect craftsmanship and integrity.

Why it’s called “PORTER”

In 1962, Yoshida launched its first in-house brand: PORTER.

The name came from hotel porters—the people who handle luggage every day. Kichizo Yoshida believed that if anyone truly understood what made a great bag, it was the professionals who carried them constantly.

The Fork 2Way Tote is one of those bags that naturally draws comparisons to the Hermès HAC. The proportions, the structured silhouette, and the lock hardware all feel familiar, but the ex*****on is unmistakably Porter. It's constructed from **heavy duck canvas with a water-resistant finish**, complemented by premium leather handles, leather straps, and polished silver-tone hardware.

The feature that sets it apart is its versatility. Carry it by hand, over the shoulder, or attach the removable strap and wear it as a full crossbody. Jon carried this bag throughout our trip to Japan, from Kyoto to Osaka and Tokyo. It handled everything from daily essentials to camera gear without missing a beat.

The Fork collection is produced in relatively small quantities, and outside of Japan it can be difficult to find through authorized retailers. If you come across one, it's a great example of why Porter Yoshida has earned such a loyal following among collectors, travelers, and designers alike.

A word from the designer DOC. He was the main creative brain that made this amazing jersey design come to life. He’s an incredible talent and we are privileged to have had someone like him on our team.
