Have you ever visited Japan, only to be met with tacky souvenirs, over-the-top designs, or endless tacky embroided Western script? I have, over and over again. Every time I tried to take home a piece of Japan, it felt like I was leaving with anything but the essence of the country’s beautiful minimalism.

This frustration gave birth to Janpu Japan (ジャンプ) – https://www.instagram.com/janpujapan which means “to jump” in Japanese. It’s my personal leap toward clean, simple designs that embody what Japan means to me.
