Received a lot of messages asking about how the Checkman Racing seats look inside the car. Here are a bunch of photos from various angles showing off how they look. It’s a period correct look given they are based on the original design from the 80s. I dig the mismatch look as well, it doesn’t seem practical to have a bucket seat on the passenger side.

New product dropped for fellow Datsun owners, valve cover breather fittings. Low profile AN10 fitting - no need to tap or weld anything together. Had a hard time finding anything myself so I made it!

This has been very difficult to not announce earlier, but after months of work with Real Wheel Deal I'm happy to finally tease my magnum opus for this year.

The Rim to Rim Calendar is a spin on the tear-away daily calendar. Each day will feature a unique wheel from the Japanese tuning world (some exceptions).

Tons of hard work went into this project. More importantly, I wanted to make sure it was made right: perforated pages, lightweight paper stock with that slightly translucent texture, and offset printing for those crisp lines.

Not pictured, the calendar will also feature hardware used on wheels along with a decorative front plate. Hope everyone enjoys it! I will have a small shipment landing soon with the main shipment arriving in a two months or so.

Another gem from Fuji Speedway Museum. A replica of the 2000GT entered in the 3rd Japanese Grand Prix. At first glance, it looks fairly mild from the front, but small details reveal the changes made to improve the car’s performance. The heavy steel body panels were replaced with aluminum and a massive 100 liter fuel tank was installed. The caption for the car notes that it was forced to retire after a stray piece of newspaper became stuck against the radiator, causing the engine to overheat.
