To every learner keep believing in yourself.

Today we begin the 16 Days of Activism, a time to speak up, learn, and act against all forms of gender-based violence. This year we shine a light on digital spaces, where many women and girls face threats, harassment and silence. Violence online is real and it deserves real attention from all of us.

Everyone deserves to feel safe when using a phone, sharing a message, or being part of any online space. Safety starts with awareness, and it grows when communities stand up together.

For the next and beyond, let us walk, speak and act with purpose, because ending GBV is a responsibility we all share.

In many of our communities, violence is still a painful reality. It is often hidden in homes, normalized in conversations or dismissed as ‘just how things are’.
Yet every act of violence steals safety, dignity and opportunity from women and girls who deserve so much better. That is why we must focus on ending violence in all its forms. These times demand that we speak louder, stand firmer and act together.
