How I Almost Died During My C-Section — But God Saved Me
This delivery was different from the others.
It came with so much pain and fear.
I was taken into the theatre for a C-section. The doctors injected me with anesthesia, but I could still feel what they were doing. They gave me another dose, yet deep inside, something did not feel right.
Then one doctor looked at me and said,
“Mama, you are not ready. Who told you to come? You haven’t even contracted an inch.”
She did not understand the pain I had already endured.
The operation continued, and by God’s grace, my baby was delivered safely. She was so beautiful that everyone called her “the baby of the day.” Hearing that brought joy to my heart despite everything I was feeling.
After the surgery, I was taken outside the theatre while waiting to be moved to the ward.
That is when things suddenly changed.
One cleaner kept complaining that she was wiping blood, yet more blood continued flowing. She decided to trace where it was coming from. When the nurses checked, they discovered the blood was mine.
Immediately, the doctors rushed to me.
One doctor opened my eyes to examine me, then suddenly screamed for my file so she could confirm my blood type. The atmosphere changed instantly. Fear filled my heart.
Then she said words I will never forget:
“You are dying.”
I was shocked. Confused. Terrified.
I looked at her and asked,
“Am I really dying?”
At that moment, I knew only God could save me.
I began to pray with everything inside me. I called upon the name of Jesus, asking Him for mercy and life. The doctor informed me that they were preparing to take me back into theatre to find out what was causing the bleeding.
But deep within me, I cried out:
“Lord Jesus, save me! I am not going back there. Have mercy on me!”
They quickly added blood and continued treating me. The doctor told me she would observe me for a short while, but if the bleeding did not stop, they would operate again.
But Jesus stepped in
After five long hours of observation, the bleeding finally stopped. I was weak, exhausted, and shaken… but I was alive.
God healed me.
“I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.” — Psalm 118:17
What doctors feared would end in death became a testimony of God’s mercy and power.
“Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me.” — Psalm 50:15
Today, I testify that Jesus saved my life.
Whoever the Son sets free is free indeed.
All glory be to God.

I WOKE UP AT 2 AM TO CHECK ON MY 6-MONTH-OLD TWIN BOYS, ONLY TO FIND THEM SITTING UPRIGHT AND SPEAKING ANCIENT YORUBA TO A GIANT COBRA.

My hands are trembling as I type this. I am currently hiding in the security post of my estate in Lekki. I cannot go back inside that house.

If you are a mother, please hold your children tight. Not everything that comes out of your womb is a human being.

My name is Mrs. Williams. I have been married for 12 years. For 10 of those years, I was barren.

I was mocked. I was insulted. My mother-in-law called me a "man."

I went to every church, every hospital, and every prayer mountain.

Then, last year, my husband, Tunde, came home with a bottle of "special water" from a Prophet in Badagry.

"Drink this, my love," he said. "The Prophet said our time has come."

I drank it. Two weeks later, I was pregnant.

When I gave birth to twin boys, Taiwo and Kehinde, the whole church celebrated. We threw a massive party.

But from the first day, I knew something was wrong.

These babies did not cry.

When they were born, they did not scream. They just looked around the delivery room with eyes that seemed too old. Too wise.

At 3 months, they refused breast milk. They would only eat raw pap and heavy solid food.

My husband said, "Ah, they are strong African men. Let them eat?"

But last night, the veil was lifted from my eyes.

I woke up around 2:00 AM because I heard voices coming from the nursery.

I thought maybe Tunde was in there playing with them. But the voices were deep. Rasping. Like gravel grinding against stone.

I walked to the nursery door. It was slightly open.

I peeked inside.

Brothers and sisters, my blood turned to water.

My 6-month-old babies, who cannot yet walk or crawl, were sitting upright on the floor.

They were not sitting like babies. They were sitting cross-legged, like village elders.

And in front of them, coiled on the rug, was a black cobra.

The snake was huge. Its head was raised, swaying side to side.

But

REBECCA – CHAPTER 4: THE POWER THEY COULD NOT UNDERSTAND
Morning came, but Rebecca was no longer the same.
She stood quietly outside, the cool air brushing against her skin. Her hands… they still carried that strange warmth. Not painful. Not ordinary. It was alive.
She remembered the dream.
A bright light.
A voice—soft, yet powerful.
"You are chosen."
Rebecca held her hands close to her chest.
“What does that mean?” she whispered.
But deep inside… she already knew.
Inside the house, her stepmother watched her.
Something about Rebecca had changed.
Her silence was no longer weakness.
Her eyes… carried something deeper.
Fear.
Jealousy began to grow like poison in her heart.
“This girl…” she muttered, gripping her cup tightly. “There is something wrong with her.”
Later that day, something happened.
A small child from the neighborhood was brought to their home. He was very sick—burning with fever, his body weak, his mother crying helplessly.
“Please… help me,” the woman begged. “He is dying.”
Rebecca’s stepmother scoffed.
“We are not doctors. Take him away.”
But Rebecca stepped forward slowly.
Her heart was beating fast.
“I… I can try,” she said softly.
Her stepmother turned sharply.
“You? Since when did you become a healer?”
Rebecca didn’t answer.
She knelt beside the boy. Her hands trembled as she placed them gently on his forehead.
For a moment… nothing happened.
Then—
That same warmth returned.
Stronger.
Brighter.
Rebecca shut her eyes tightly.
“God… if this is from You… help him,” she whispered.
The room fell silent.
The crying stopped.
Even the wind outside seemed to pause.
Then slowly… the boy’s breathing changed.
Calm.
Steady.
His fever began to drop.
His small eyes opened.
“Mother…” he whispered weakly.
The woman gasped and fell to her knees.
“He’s alive… he’s alive!”
Rebecca quickly pulled her hands away, shocked.
Her stepmother stood frozen.
Her worst fear… had just began to
spread.
A girl with healing hands.
A girl chosen by God.
But not everyone was happy.
That night, Rebecca’s stepmother sat in the dark, her face cold, her mind restless.
“This power…” she whispered.
“It will bring attention… and I will not be overshadowed in my own house.”
Her eyes hardened.
“If she thinks she is special…” she said slowly,
“I will show her what happens to girls who rise too fast.”

REBECCA – CHAPTER 3: THE AWAKENING OF THE GIFT
That night, Rebecca could not sleep.
The house was unusually silent, but her heart was not. Her stepmother’s harsh words still echoed in her mind like distant thunder. Yet something else was louder now… a strange warmth in her hands, like fire that did not burn.
She sat up slowly on her thin mattress.
“Why do I feel this way?” she whispered.
From the corner of the room, she noticed a faint glow around her palms. Rebecca gasped and pulled her hands close to her chest. The glow faded, then returned again—soft, like morning light breaking through clouds.
She was scared… but not only scared. She was curious.
The next morning, tragedy struck the village.
Old Mama Njeri, the woman who sold vegetables at the market, collapsed outside her stall. People gathered, panic spreading quickly. Some said she had fainted from hunger, others said it was a strange sickness moving silently through the village.
Rebecca stood at a distance, her heart pounding.
Then she heard it again—that quiet voice inside her, gentle but firm:
“Go.”
Her stepmother noticed her hesitation and snapped, “Don’t even think about going near that woman. You are useless. Stay here!”
But Rebecca’s feet moved before fear could stop her.
The crowd parted slightly as she knelt beside Mama Njeri. Her hands trembled as she placed them gently on the woman’s chest.
A sudden silence fell.
The warmth returned—stronger this time. Rebecca closed her eyes, tears slipping down her cheeks.
“I don’t understand this,” she whispered.
And then… Mama Njeri gasped softly.
Her eyes slowly opened.
The crowd erupted in shock.
“What just happened?” someone shouted.
Rebecca pulled her hands back quickly, shaking. She looked around, confused and afraid of what she had done.
Mama Njeri slowly sat up, holding Rebecca’s wrist.
“There is something in you… something from God
From a distance, Rebecca’s stepmother watched in horror
And for the first time, fear entered her eyes

REBECCA – THE GIRL WITH HEALING HANDS
Chapter 2
Rebecca could not sleep that night. Her stepmother’s harsh words echoed in her mind until everything went quiet.
Then she drifted into a strange dream.
She stood in a bright field, and a man in white spoke gently to her.
“Rebecca… your hands are not ordinary. What I have placed in you is a gift.”
She looked at her hands and saw a faint light flicker through her palms.
“I don’t understand,” she whispered.
The man’s voice softened. “Do not be afraid when the time comes to use it.”
The light faded… and everything went dark.
Rebecca woke up suddenly, breathing heavily. Her hands felt warm, like they had been touched by fire—but she was not burned.
She sat up slowly, confused, staring at her trembling hands.
Outside, the night was still.
But something inside her had already changed.

Title: REBECCA – The Girl Born With Healing Hands
A spiritual, emotional, and educational story
Chapter 1: The Child of Promise
Rebecca was born on a rainy night in a small village where thunder rolled like distant drums and the wind whispered through banana trees. Her mother, weak from labor but smiling through tears, held her tightly and whispered:
“God has answered me…”
From the moment Rebecca cried for the first time, something was different. Her cry was not just sound—it felt like peace entering the room.
But joy did not last long.
Her mother passed away a few months later, leaving baby Rebecca in the care of her father… and a woman who would change everything—her stepmother, Mama Selina.
Mama Selina never loved Rebecca. Not even a little.
“She is just a burden,” she would say quietly. But Rebecca was too young to understand hatred. She only knew hunger, cold floors, and silence where love should have been.
Yet something strange always happened around Rebecca.
When she placed her tiny hand on her sick goat, it recovered.
When she touched her crying neighbor’s baby, the child slept peacefully.
But no one noticed yet… not even Rebecca.

💔 THE WICKED MOTHER-IN-LAW (CHAPTER 2: “MY BODY STARTED FAILING ME”)
After that first night, I tried to convince myself it was stress.
But my body began to change.
Slowly… painfully… strangely.
I would wake up feeling like I had not slept at all. My strength was gone. Even simple things like standing up felt heavy, like something was pulling me back into the bed.
My husband noticed first.
“You look tired all the time,” he said one morning. “Are you okay?”
I wanted to tell him everything.
About the whispers.
About the woman I saw at night.
About the fear I carried every single day in that house.
But every time I opened my mouth… something stopped me.
Like my words got stuck in my throat.
My mother-in-law started acting differently too.
She would bring me tea every morning.
Smiling.
“Drink it,” she would say softly. “It will help you feel strong.”
But after drinking it… my weakness only got worse.
My hands would shake.
My head would feel heavy.
And strange dreams began.
In the dreams, I was always in the same place… a dark room with no windows.
And someone would be calling me closer.
Every night… closer.
One evening, I overheard her talking outside the kitchen.
Her voice was low… but clear enough to hear.
“She is already weakening,” she said.
A pause.
Then she laughed softly.
“Soon she won’t even remember who she is.”
My heart stopped.
I stepped back slowly, afraid to breathe too loud.
But then… the floor creaked.
She stopped talking.
Silence.
Then slowly… she turned her head toward where I was standing.
And I knew it.
She knew I had heard everything.
That night, I locked myself in the bedroom.
But at midnight…
I heard the door handle move.
Slowly.
Carefully.
Testing if it was locked.
Then her voice came through the door.
Calm… cold… and certain.
“You can’t hide from what is already inside you.”
And that was the night I realized…
This was no longer just a marriage.
It was a battle for my life.

💔 THE WICKED MOTHER-IN-LAW (CHAPTER 1: “THE DAY I ENTERED HER HOUSE”)
I still remember the day I entered that house.
It was supposed to be the happiest day of my life. I had just gotten married to the man I loved. He held my hand so tightly as we stepped into his family home. I smiled… I was young, hopeful, and full of dreams.
But his mother… she didn’t smile back.
She just looked at me from head to toe like I was something unwanted.
That was the first time I felt fear in a place that was supposed to be home.
“Welcome,” she said coldly. But her eyes said something else.
That night, I heard whispers outside my room. Soft voices. Strange sounds. I told myself it was just my imagination.
But the next morning, something changed.
My husband avoided my eyes.
And my mother-in-law… she started smiling too much.
Too much to be normal.
Days passed, and I began to feel strange in that house. I would fall sick without reason. I would dream of a dark shadow standing at the end of my bed, watching me sleep.
Every time I tried to tell my husband, he said the same thing:
“Stop overthinking. My mother would never harm you.”
But I could feel it.
Something was wrong in that house.
And then came the first clear sign…
One night, I woke up and saw her standing at my door.
My mother-in-law.
Holding something in her hand.
Something I couldn’t see clearly…
But what she said next made my blood turn cold.
“I told you… you will not take my son away from me.”
Then the light went out.
And I don’t remember what happened after that night.
Only that everything in my life… began to fall apart.
