Day 5 of the Hope for Literacy Campaign in Narok!

What an incredible way to conclude the campaign in Narok! We look back with gratitude and pride at what we have achieved. It has been an incredible journey of creating lasting impact in the lives of learners and their communities. We reached every school we had planned to visit, donated over 25,000 eco-friendly pencils, 5,000 school bags, and planted more than 1,000 fruit trees.

A special thank you to our incredible partner, Zoho, whose unwavering support has made the Hope for Literacy Campaign bigger, stronger, and even more impactful. Together, we are proving that meaningful partnerships can transform lives and create brighter futures.

Day 4 of the Hope for Literacy Campaign in Narok!🌱✏️

The impact continues to grow! So far, we have donated over 20,000 eco-friendly pencils, 4,000 school bags, and planted more than 800 fruit trees across the schools we have visited.

Every pencil empowers a child to write their future, every school bag supports their learning journey, and every fruit tree is a lasting investment in a greener, healthier tomorrow. Together, we are creating meaningful change—one school, one student, and one community at a time.

Day 3 of the Hope for Literacy Campaign! 🌱✏️

Today, we had the privilege of reaching out to Nairasirasa Primary School and Nkairamram Primary School, where we shared another unforgettable day of learning, giving, and environmental action.

From distributing school bags and eco-friendly pencils, to an inspiring performance by Zamaleo, and planting fruit trees alongside teachers and students, every moment reminded us of the power of coming together to create lasting change.

Together, we are not only equipping learners with the tools they need to succeed but also nurturing a greener, brighter future for generations to come.

Under the Hope for Literacy campaign we are implementing in Narok, we are making a big difference. From small, nearly finished pencils to a full year's supply of pencils for every student in each school we reach. Together, we are improving access to learning while promoting sustainability and giving every child the tools to write their future.

Day 1 of the Hope for Literacy Campaign!📚🌱

Today, together with our partner Zoho, we had the privilege of reaching two schools in Narok Maasai Mara University Model Primary School and Pulung'a Comprehensive School.

It was a day filled with purpose, smiles, and lasting impact. We donated pencils and school bags to support learners in their education journey, while also planting fruit trees to help create greener and more sustainable school environments. After the shrinking process, the next stop on the production line was sharpening. ✏️

The students from Boma International Hospitality College had the opportunity to sharpen the pencils themselves and experience this important stage of the manufacturing process firsthand. Seeing how every pencil is carefully finished before reaching the customer made the visit both educational and memorable.

It was truly an amazing experience filled with learning, curiosity, and hands-on participation.

Together with our partner Zoho we officially launched the Hope for Literacy Campaign which we will be implementing in Narok.

Through this initiative, we are working to improve access to education in marginalized communities by donating eco-friendly school bags and pencils while creating greener learning environments through the planting of fruit trees in schools.

Every bag, every pencil, and every tree planted is an investment in a brighter future for our children.

Teach them while they are young. 🌱

Through the Hope for Literacy Campaign, we are empowering young learners to care for the environment through hands-on action. By planting fruit trees in their schools, students learn the value of environmental conservation while creating greener, healthier learning spaces for future generations.

This July, we're aiming even higher. Our goal is to reach more than 10 schools and plant even more fruit trees alongside students who are ready to make a lasting difference.

Together, we can grow a generation that values education, sustainability, and community.

After filming,we took the students to the next stage of the pencil production process, shrinking.

At this stage, each pencil passes through a shrinking machine, where controlled heat is applied to seal the film tightly and smoothly around the pencil. This ensures a neat, durable finish while giving every pencil a professional look.

It was exciting for the students to witness how a simple process adds both quality and value to the final product.
