ALAMA — marks of meaning.

For this campaign, Nyamuoch was born in Ethiopia to South Sudanese parents and raised in the United States within a strong diaspora community. She returned to East Africa at 24, and has continued to move between continents since.

Her life across cultures has shaped a deep sense of identity, belonging, and personal strength.

For the ALAMA campaign, she marked her shirt with five totems — Belonging, Fear, Time, Kinship, Reflection.

Symbols chosen to reflect her story.

Each Alama piece can carry symbols chosen by the wearer — marks that hold memory, change, and personal truth.

Over the next days, we share the story behind each one.
