“I wrote emotional romance books… and now my fictional characters are emotionally arguing in my head.”

Nobody warned me about this part of being a writer. The characters don’t stay in the book. They move into your mind. You’re cooking and suddenly thinking: «“No, that dialogue is wrong. He would NOT say that.”» You’re trying to sleep and suddenly: «“We need to fix that emotional scene immediately.”» Writing Caged and Love After Shattered Silence taught me that emotional stories don’t end when the chapter ends. They continue living in your head. Which is both beautiful and slightly concerning. But I wouldn’t change it. Because that means the story mattered. 📚 Read here:

I didn’t have a “career plan” for writing. I just kept writing stories in school. For friends.For fun.For escape.For expression. Even when I was supposed to be focusing on other things, I was still writing. School plays.Poems.Stories passed around in class like secret treasures. And somehow, that never stopped.
