ក្នុងនាមប្រជាពលរដ្ឋកម្ពុជា យើងមានក្តីព្រួយបារម្ភជាខ្លាំងចំពោះសេចក្តីរាយការណ៍ថា ជនស៊ីវិលមួយចំនួននៅភូមិព្រៃចាន់ ស្រុកអូរជ្រៅ ខេត្តបន្ទាយមានជ័យ បានរងរបួសនឹងកងកម្លាំងយោធាថៃបានបាញ់មកលើជនសុីវិលមុន។ អាទិភាពទីមួយរបស់យើងគឺសុវត្ថិភាព និងសុខុមាលភាពរបស់ប្រជាពលរដ្ឋដែលរងផលប៉ះពាល់ទាំងអស់។

កម្ពុជា​អំពាវនាវ​ឲ្យ​៖
* ការថែទាំវេជ្ជសាស្រ្តភ្លាមៗ និងការការពារជនស៊ីវិលដែលរងរបួស។
* ការស៊ើបអង្កេតហ្មត់ចត់ និងអព្យាក្រឹត ដើម្បីបង្កើតអង្គហេតុ ជាមួយអ្នកសង្កេតការណ៍ឯករាជ្យ ប្រសិនបើចាំបាច់។
* ភាគីទាំងអស់ត្រូវអនុវត្តការអត់ធ្មត់ និងគោរពបទដ្ឋានអន្តរជាតិ ដើម្បីទប់ស្កាត់ការបង្កគ្រោះថ្នាក់បន្ថែមទៀតដល់ជនស៊ីវិល។

As a Cambodian citizen, We are deeply concerned by reports that several civilians in Prey Chan village, Ou Chrov district, Banteay Meanchey province, have been injured in an incident involving Thai military forces. Our first priority is the safety and well-being of all affected citizens.

Cambodia calls for:
*Immediate medical care and protection for the injured civilians.
*A thorough and neutral investigation to establish the facts, with independent observers if necessary.
*All parties to exercise restraint and respect international norms to prevent further harm to civilians.

We urge Thailand to ensure the safety of Cambodian citizens near the border and to cooperate fully with efforts to clarify the situation.

Cambodia remains committed to peace and dialogue. Violence against civilians is unacceptable, and we appeal to all sides to prioritize human life over political disputes. 🙏🏻

ក្រោយពីត្រឡប់មកដល់ប្រទេសកម្ពុជាវិញបន្ទាប់ពីចរចារការឈប់បាញ់ជាបន្ទាន់ រវាងកងទ័ពកម្ពុជានិងកងទ័ពថៃដោយជោគជ័យនៅប្រទេសម៉ាឡេស៊ី ខ្ញុំបានទទួលទូរសព្ទពីឯកឧត្តម Donald Trump ប្រធានាធិបតីសហរដ្ឋអាមេរិក ដោយឯកឧត្តមទាក់ទងមកផ្ទាល់ ដើម្បីអបអរសាទរនូវជោគជ័យនៃកិច្ចចរចារបញ្ចប់ការឈប់បាញ់គ្នាភ្លាមរវាងនាយករដ្ឋមន្ត្រីកម្ពុជានិងនាយករដ្ឋមន្ត្រីថៃកាលពីល្ងាចមិញនេះ។ ឯកឧត្តមចាត់ទុកកិច្ចការនេះជាកិច្ចការសំខាន់ហើយដែលឯកឧត្តមតាមដានដោយផ្ទាល់។

ឯកឧត្តមប្រធានាធិបតី Donald Trump ចាត់ទុកថាកិច្ចការងារនេះជាកិច្ចការពិសេសសំខាន់ដែលឯកឧត្តមចង់ឃើញនូវសន្តិភាពមួយដែលមានជាអចិន្ត្រៃយ៍រវាងប្រទេសទាំងពីរ។

Upon returning to Cambodia following the successful negotiation of an immediate ceasefire between the Cambodian and Thai armed forces in Malaysia, I received a phone call from His Excellency Donald Trump, President of the United States. He contacted me to extend his congratulations for this evening's successful ceasefire negotiation between the Cambodian Prime Minister and the Thai Prime Minister. He considers this a crucial matter that he had been monitoring personally.

I expressed my renewed thanks to President Donald Trump for initiating and facilitating for a swift ceasefire negotiation and for the United States to co-organize today's special meeting in Malaysia.

He believes that for this agreement to be fully and sustainably implemented, there must be a clear monitoring mechanism to oversee the implementation by the relevant parties. This was also a point of agreement of the special meeting.

In this regard, President Trump agrees for the United States to engage in the monitoring the implementation of the ceasefire agreement and to continue cooperating with the mechanism established by Malaysia for successful oversight.

The President attaches great importance to this ceasefire agreement, as he wishes to see lasting peace between the two countries.

Any notion of Cambodia, a smaller nation with a developing economy, initiating an invasion of Thailand’s territory is strategically illogical and wholly unfounded. Such an act would contradict every rational interest Cambodia holds.

Firstly, the military imbalance is immense. Thailand possesses a significantly larger and more technologically advanced military, far superior in airpower, naval capabilities, and ground forces. A full-scale invasion by Cambodia would be a futile and devastating undertaking, leading to overwhelming defeat and immense human cost.

Secondly, Cambodia’s paramount focus is economic development. After decades of hardship, the nation is dedicated to poverty reduction, infrastructure growth, and attracting investment. An unprovoked invasion would immediately trigger international sanctions, cripple its vital tourism sector, and halt economic progress, undoing years of hard-won stability.

Furthermore, as an ASEAN member, Cambodia adheres to principles of peaceful dispute resolution. Aggression against a fellow member would isolate it diplomatically and undermine regional cooperation. Cambodia’s preferred method for resolving border issues has historically been through negotiation and international legal avenues, not military confrontation.

In essence, an invasion offers no benefit and catastrophic consequences for Cambodia. Its national interests unequivocally lie in peace, stability, and continued economic growth, not in a conflict it cannot win. 🇰🇭🤍
