"Date night pumping looks like this… | My husband and I have been stepping out more and for me this means more pumping 🍼

With our son, we didn’t get to go out because of the pandemic. We made special moments indoors but to be able to actually go out again - get dressed up and have these fun moments outside of our home, has been so amazing for us.

So here’s what I’ve been doing for our date nights! Using my Willow Go from and my favorite Comotomo bottles. Leaving baby girl happy and fed at home with abuelita who the hubs flys in from Texas.

"I remember the first time I found out about breast milk changing color I thought it was definitely something I ate and not what I’ve read online about it providing virus fighting benefits for my baby 🦠. But this week, we had lots of company over— and although I’ve been pretty good about introducing her to friends and family gradually, receiving blankets, cleaning the house, etc… the reality is we all carry our germs! I noticed this week my milk was green pretty often instead of it’s creamy white color. Here is what I’ve learned: Breastmilk can definitely change color when you or the baby are sick or are exposed to illness. In fact, researchers believe that when a baby is sick, she passes on a cue through her saliva that sends a signal to her mother’s body to produce more milk with illness-specific antibodies. Magical, right? Similarly, if the breastfeeding mother is exposed to a virus, she will produce antibodies that get passed on to the baby for protection. (Source: Todays Transparent). In designing our bottle, we sought out to resolve all existing problems with standard baby bottles. We placed smart, non-leaking dual air-vents to prevent colic, made a truly wide-neck design for easy cleaning, and used a hygienic silicone material so that you never have to worry about toxic chemicals. Above all, our bottle is designed to mimic breastfeeding to help babies easily transition back and forth from nursing to bottle feeding. It’s rescued so many families dealing with ‘ni**le confusion’ and ‘bottle rejection’ that our Comotomo mama’s coined the term “Breastfeeding in a Bottle!” 🍼
