As part of the national initiative to distribute school footwear in place of vouchers to schools with fewer than 250 students, Memoranda of Understanding were officially signed today (01.01.2026) at the Ministry of Education between the Ministry of Industry and Entrepreneurship Development, the Ministry of Education, and nine leading local footwear manufacturing companies.

We are immensely proud Phonix Industries has been selected to participate in this prestigious and impactful national project, contributing to the well-being of schoolchildren and the advancement of local industry in Sri Lanka.
