This World Mangrove Day, Hirdaramani celebrates the power of collective action in protecting one of nature's most valuable ecosystems.

From restoring 1.5 hectares of mangroves at Sri Lanka's Anawilundawa Wetland Sanctuary to planting 2,950 mangrove saplings along Vietnam's coastlines, our efforts reflect a shared commitment to restoring nature, strengthening coastal resilience and supporting biodiversity.

Building climate resilience requires collective action.

Representing Hirdaramani Group, Dr. Leonie Vaas, General Manager – Sustainability, joined Sri Lankan private sector leaders at the Asia Pacific Private Sector Roundtable on Water Stewardship and Climate Resilient Development, held during the Ninth Session of the ESCAP Committee on Environment and Development (CED9).

The discussions explored how stronger water stewardship, climate resilience and cross-sector collaboration can help accelerate progress towards the Sustainable Development Goals.
