Where craft becomes obsession 🖤

The "Black Swan" bag — designed by MODART student Rithmaka Nathan, inspired by the film's ballet dancer consumed by her art 🩰

The silhouette echoes a ballet skirt. Layers of taffeta and tulle, finished with hand-placed beading ✨

Look closer — the beads are loosely trapped between the fabric layers, free to shift and move. A quiet nod to the film's themes of transformation and entrapment 🖤🔗

Fashion that tells a story before a word is spoken.

Research is where design begins 🧶✨

Walk into our campus and this is one of the first things you'll see — a knit collection inspired by Paul Poiret and the Ballets Russes 🎭

Our 1st year students explore colour, texture, and embellishment through hands-on sample-making — starting with basic techniques and building toward complex craftsmanship, all in response to one of fashion history's most influential creative collaborations 🧵
