Sri Lanka won 3 gold, 1 silver and 3 bronze medals on the fifth and final day of swimming competition at 13th South Asian Games in Kathmandu, Nepal.
The medal tally for KWA on day five stands at 3 Gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze!

The 3 golds were won by Matthew Abeysinghe in the 200 IM, the 100 Freestyle and the 50 Butterfly, each one with a new national record.

The silver medal was won by the Women's 4x100 Medley Relay.

Women's Relay - KWA swimmers, Ganga Seneviratna (Backstroke), Ramudi Samarakoon (Breaststroke) and Bhakthi Karunasena (Freestyle) teamed up with Aniqah Ghafoor (Butterfly). Sandu Savindi Jayaweera won the bronze medal in the Women's 50 Butterfly with a new nationla record. She also became the first Sri Lankan female swimmer to break the 29 second barrier.
