Lightness, movement and natural elegance — all starting from acetate yarn.

This dress combines two different acetate-based fabrics, each showing a unique side of acetate cellulose yarn. The top part is made from acetate crepe fabric, giving the dress a softly textured surface, elegant drape and more structured silhouette. Crepe brings a refined, slightly grainy feel that makes the garment look sophisticated while still suitable for everyday wear.

The crepe material shown in these photos is made from 74% acetate and 26% viscose, combining acetate’s smooth drape and subtle sheen with viscose’s soft, comfortable hand feel.

Crepe fabric is known for its softly textured, slightly grainy surface and elegant movement. In acetate crepe, this effect is created through the choice of yarn, fabric construction and finishing process. Acetate cellulose filament yarns can be woven using high-twist yarns, often with controlled S and Z twist directions, helping the fabric develop its signature crepe texture.

When dope-dyed acetate yarn is used, the colour is already integrated into the yarn itself. This helps the final fabric achieve deep, even shades such as black, navy or rich seasonal colours, while supporting a more consistent appearance across the fabric surface.
