I had the pleasure of being July’s featured artist on woxx 💚🌱 a weekly Luxembourgish newspaper 🍀

The illustrations feature on the back cover, along with an interview, which is also available online!

The newspaper is printed in b&w plus one spot colour. At first I was really concerned that it would not fit my work at all (which is super colourful) but I ended up loving the result. The limited colour palette really helps to draw attention to one specific element and to emphasize the symbolism of each artwork

🤖 I was commissioned by Sensity to create an illustration on AI adoption and why it’s important to listen to people’s concerns when it comes to the AI journey. While I’m firmly against AI replacing human creativity and output, I believe it has a place in complex and repetitive processes.

Companies need to understand people’s needs in order to translate AI potential into realistic, valuable steps. It’s not always useful or efficient to use it.

I started off exploring the idea of collaboration and understanding to build a way forward with AI. People were at the centre of these sketches. Representing something intangible and abstract as AI is challenging. I chose conceptual connecting shapes, often multiplied or repeated, to show the way AI works.

Integrating client’s feedback into my work is essential. Some small tweaks can really improve the overall message of the illustration.
