England's defeat by Iceland in their final warm-up game before Euro 2024 set alarm bells ringing for many - and those concerns have yet to be allayed. Southgate's own admission after the draw with Denmark that using Alexander-Arnold in midfield was an "experiment" hasn't helped...

Fabregas: "The most successful coaches go into the detail. What you see yesterday with Denmark you saw a proper team. A team I see who is ready to face every game. You saw a gameplan.

It may feel like the last Premier League season has only just finished, but planning for the next one is well under way and clubs can now officially make signings for the upcoming campaign.

That is because the English top-flight transfer window is now open, running from Friday, 14 June until Friday, 30 August.

There is another important deadline for clubs to consider before that, however.

Cole Palmer marked his first England start by setting Gareth Southgate's side on their way to victory against Bosnia-Herzegovina at St James' Park as the countdown to Euro 2024 continued.

England's much-changed side struggled to find any rhythm for long periods in a scrappy affair but finally broke the deadlock on the hour when Palmer drove in a penalty after Ezri Konsa was pulled back at a corner.

Middlesex are now into the 169th over of their innings - four more than they bowled to Sussex.

As if to underline the slightly unreal 'feel' at Lord's, Sussex have been operating with a 9-1 field.

An 18th Century mill seen as "grandparent" of the skyscraper has won an architectural award after being converted into a visitor centre.

Shrewsbury's Flaxmill Maltings, built in 1797, has landed the accolade of West Midlands Building of the Year in The Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA)'s annual awards.

Other winners included Warwick University’s biomedical research building and St. Mary Magdalene Church in Tanworth-in-Arden, where singer-songwriter Nick Drake is buried.

RIBA’s judges noted the mill was the world’s first iron-frame building - a building technique taken on in construction of the original skyscrapers.

Emma Stone has revealed that she'd actually prefer if we didn't call her that - because it isn't her real name.

She said she would like people to use the name she was born with, adding: "That would be so nice. I would like to be Emily."

The 35-year-old told The Hollywood Reporter she gets "people that I work with" to call her Emily "when I get to know them".

Stone says she chose to change her name because Emily "was taken" by someone else in her actors' union before her.

This epic 28-minute instalment of the kids TV show, streaming on Disney+ from today, has been hotly anticipated – and its story is a deep reflection on change that proves, once more, it's truly transcendental viewing.

Last November, some Earth-shattering news for one global fandom dropped, when it was announced that an extended blockbuster episode of the kids' cartoon show Bluey was in production – running to an epic 28 minutes. Now, after months of hype, The Sign premieres around the world today, and is an uplifting and energetic family drama about change, all playing out in its signature colourful and quirky way.

Warning: this article contains spoilers for new Bluey episode The Sign

The much-loved Australian cartoon about Bluey, a seven-year-old blue heeler dog, her younger sister, Bingo, their mum and dad, Chilli and Bandit, and extended family and friends, has been a worldwide phenomenon since it launched back in 2018 (screening on ABC Kids in Australia, Disney Junior in the US, and the BBC and Disney+ in the UK).

A colour blind artist from Kent who makes bright sculptures said he threw away his colour enhancing glasses because the way he sees the world is part of who he is.

Robert Mitchell, from Chatham, said he started making art after he was unable to become an RAF engineer due to his sight.

The artist, who cannot see different shades of greys, blues and greens, makes bright sculptures out of resin, litter and sometimes designer bags.

However, Mr Mitchell said after he tried colour enhancing glasses he "threw them in the bin because I’m not broken".

For upcoming singers and song-writers, there's probably no one you want to be sharing a stage with more than Raye.

The Escapism singer was backed by London-based choir Flames Collective during her performance at the Brits.

Raye bagged six of the seven prizes she was up for. at Saturday's show, beating Blur, Adele and Harry Styles' record.

And after performing behind her, singers Izzy Withers, Baaba Nkansah-Asamoah and Nayana Brathwaite say Raye has paved their way forward.

"All of us were just so honoured to be able to share the stage with her and play a small part in her incredible performance," says Izzy.

The choir, based in London, started in 2016 and works with inner-city secondary school children to help them build a career in music.

While the Brits was Izzy's first time sharing a stage with Raye, the singer has performed with the choir a few times now, including at the Royal Albert Hall and Glastonbury.

Residents of Cathcart in Glasgow are the latest to turn their homes into a "Window Wonderland".

The events, held at different times across the UK, allow communities to get creative with brightly decorated windows.

"All you had to have was a window," says Cathcart Community Council chairwoman Carolyn Lochhead.

"The idea was to do something that everyone could get involved in. It didn’t involve having to spend any money or go anywhere in particular."

Homes signed up were displayed on a map for residents to plan a walking route around.

Ms Lochhead said: "What was great about it was over the weekend there was so many people out on the streets looking at all the designs and chatting to their neighbours, bringing the community together."

Ms Lochhead added: "It’s caught people’s imaginations and it’s brought them together"

Disney's chief executive, Bob Iger, has announced a series of moves which he hopes will bring "significant growth" to the entertainment giant.

The plans include streaming an exclusive version of Taylor Swift's Eras Tour concert movie on Disney+.

The firm will also invest $1.5bn (£1.2bn) in Epic Games, the maker of the hugely popular video game Fortnite.

Disney has been under pressure from activist investor Nelson Peltz, who has called for a shakeup of the business.

The US billionaire wants Disney to boost profits from its streaming business as well as improve the box office performance of its films. Last year, a number of Disney films, including those from its Marvel franchise, failed to ignite the global box office.

In its results for the three months to 31 December, Disney said that its streaming service had shed 1.3 million subscribers following a price increase in October.

However, Disney still expects its streaming business to reach profitability by September this year.

Piers Morgan is taking his daily Uncensored show off TalkTV to focus on its YouTube channel.

The broadcaster said television schedules had become an "unnecessary straitjacket" and that moving online would allow him to conduct longer, more in-depth interviews.

He also said it would enable him to attract a more global audience.

The show's YouTube channel currently has 2.35 million subscribers, many times its estimated daily TV audience.

The announcement comes less than two years after Morgan was recruited to be the star presenter for the launch of TalkTV by News UK, a subsidiary of the Murdoch family's News Corp.

The channel was one of a number set up to offer alternatives to the news coverage of the more established broadcasters.

But Morgan's move will raise questions about its future, and the role of traditional TV in general.
