"Hommage aux femmes dans la mode"

Elsa's design for was inspired by a vase from a she found in a bric-a-brac-shop.
The design started there in her mind. She made some sketches and back in Spain she hammered silver metal under the eye of a silversmith, creating a miniature silver bud flask that could be worn with a leather thong.

"Of all the bottles I fashioned, the first was the most magical," she recalled (From "Fifteen of my Fifty with Tiffany & Co."1990
