Tailoring is a craft we have long been drawn to, despite initially finding it somewhat intimidating. Our journey into bespoke tailoring and bespoke suits has been shaped by extensive research into early 20th-century texts, historical garment construction, and traditional tailoring techniques, many of which continue to inform our work today. It is a craft that demands precision, patience, and a deep appreciation for detail.

As an atelier dedicated to craftsmanship, through continuous exploration and study, we strive to understand its foundations. We continue to refine our knowledge of traditional tailoring, custom garment construction, and handcrafted tailoring techniques. By understanding the foundations of the craft, we are able to reinterpret classic methods through a contemporary lens.

LOOK 14 - TRAPA, a collection presented by at 2026

TRAPA takes its name from 'trapa natans', the water chestnut seed, sometimes also referred to as the Devil's pod, built to survive by its own structure alone. The collection explores nature as the original engineer.

Each look is an exercise in structural inquiry, silhouette as skeleton, corsetry as exoskeleton, tailoring as an argument for how a body can be built rather than dressed. The palette holds to black, bone white, slate blue, pops of deep crimson, with a tiger lily green surfacing as accents.

Designed, cut, and made entirely in Malta using Deadstock from Vintage collections and Haute Couture Ateliers around Europe.

argument for how a body can be built rather than dressed.

on structure over colour, balancing a clinical exterior
with warmth and security.
